  1. Cummings and Feruz are better players. As is Sibbald in the position Waghorn plays.

As if I'm going to listen to you. I've never seen you talk positively about our team.

I've got every faith in waghorn, the rest of the sqaud (bar clark) and the management team.

Almost as if I'm a supporter of rangers or something.

Also, cummings has been with hibs since 2013 iirc. Waghorn has been with Rangers for about 6 months now. There is nothing wrong with needing time adjusting to new surroundings.

  2. I think our defensive players are good, Kiernan, Ball then Wilson in that order.

But you look at yesterday how high up they were playing, we really need a md to comeback and support them.

So the formation should go from 442 to 352 (2 fullbacks go forward and a mid pulls back). Problem is is no one is a defensive mid fielder. So it ends up being a 262 pretty much.

Counter attack comes and Kiernan and whoever have their plate full because their at the halve way line, tav and Wallace are further up and the midfielders are either outside the box or in it.

Meanwhile it's a 3+ on 2 at our side, Kiernan and whoever gets shittalked for being bad when in fact their just being overran, they lose their marks and have to be in a few places at once.

Then it's hit or miss with Wes. He does have great ability to save but when it's 3+ it's asking a lot of him.

  3. No today wasn't for the best - it's just people trying to desperately trying to seek solice in another absolute stinker

    Solace mate. Solace.

But I get what you mean, but you gotta take positives from a negative where you can. It was all bad, we're still maintaining a domination of possession. Problem is is we need to make that count for something.

  4. But we are Gutless and toothless is costing us goal, tax xhat out of a tackle which cost us the first goal. We need to get nasty we are being bullied.

You did read what I said right?

At the first sign of aggression, one of our players would get booked. Also being nasty isn't how you go about a professional business. I would get fired if I was rude/nasty to my customers.

As a Ranger, our boys know how to conduct themselves. At that you can very easily see outburst of aggression from time to time, especially from Waggy.

  5. People do get that when Warburton said about the weather and pitch being a factor that it is a legitimate complaint right?

The weather today was pretty windy, and of course that will affect the travel of the ball in the air. Meaning that anytime the ball is kicked high enough there is going to be altercations.

For example, over kicking will be much easier and we saw that today more than usual. So in order to combat this the players have to make an on the spot decision to adjust the kicking power they put in the ball and at the same time do this under pressure. All the while the player they are aiming at needs to adjust their position for any dramatic changes. It's like driving on a wet surface, you need to account for changes that sometimes need to be on the spot. Most of the times on a wet surface a handicap is put in place or a note of it is made so that people know that something was at peak performance.

And the pitch being artificial does affect a players ability to varying degrees. First off, they are harder. Although it sounds daft saying that has a problem, it can be for a player who isn't used to it. The bounce that soil and grass have isn't there and some traction is different too. Also, it can hurt like hell to fall on which can cause joint injuries. Also take into account that Falkirk will be used to playing on that pitch and what not.

So the weather in combination with the pitch can hinder a player performance.

Is it a valid complaint? Yes I would say so.

Should it affect the outcome of a Rangers game? No it shouldn't.

Could it affect the outcome of a Rangers game? Yes it could.

  6. A thought he was terrible the day same as Wilson

Been really impressed with him, but our worst player today. Even with Wilsons tackle.

I still highly rate him, he's done more good than bad. But whenever he does do bad we do pay the price for it. (See Mortons second goal).

It's hard to say whether or not it's easy for him to be playing alongside Wilson one week and then Ball the next, but I would be interested to see how Wilson and Ball did together and let Kiernan get a week off or have him as a reserve.

He also needs to work on his heading technique, he is our tallest player and he needs to have more impact in the box.

  7.

I have absolutely no idea who he crosses it to, it's just two arms up in the air and kick the ball that way.

Either that, or it's short corners that take us nowhere.

Because there is noone to cross too that can consistently get it in the back of the net.

The short corners, funnily enough is the way we should be taking them. The opposition outclasses us with height, it's too easy for them too get a head on it.

  8. Missing a penalty and the keeper saving it ..... is still missing.

    No it's not.

Waghorn was on target, has the keeper not been there it would've been in.

It's the goalkeeper that saved the penalty, not Waghorn missing. It was an excellent save on the keeper behalf.

  9. McKay needs taken off corners

    Yeah okay mr. onthespectrum.

Who the fuck is he suppose to cross it too? Kiernan is our tallest player outside of our goalie, he's easily marked and cut off and at that he's also a defender.

Oh but please go on pitch and show Baz how to take a corner kick.

  10. He was rotten the day and that penalty miss was stinkin.

There's a difference between missing a penalty and a penalty getting saved.

There is nothing wrong with having a poor day at the office, in the last 5 of 7 games he's scored 5 goals. Overall he's scored 16 goals this season meanwhile Cummings is at 10 and baird is at 12.

  11. what would sky say re a 16 team league that only has an old firm game twice a year? not much - they would be looking to drop the price yet again.

yet Sky surely want a better product on the box so that people outwith the teams actually playing watch it? cutting costs isn't going to do that.

i think i am arguing with myself here.

Sky itself is pish. Over 900 channels n the majority of it all is just repeats.

BT sports is the way to go imo. That and Netflix/Youtube

  12. It shouldn't effect us what players Hibs are playing.

Our boys should be good enough (and they've proved before they are) to overcome any adversary and get the win at the end of the day. For the Manager and for the fans.

Cause god knows this place will fucking implode again if they don't :dry:

  13. I want to add (and mask this double post) that I do believe in Ally mccoist, as a footballer not as manager. But at the same time he did lead the team through a dark spot when no one else presumably would.

His managerial skills were non existent yes, but that compared to every he has done for the club should make that irrelevant. Not a lot could've helped us last season.

This business with the money to us fans should be shady. You gotta remember. It's a business and bills need paid. The support were already turning on ally (hell some are doubting Warburton) before he was put on gardening leave.

Also I highly doubt ANYONE wouldn't accept the offer of getting fpptball managers paywage for doing nothing. If you do then you either don't need the money or are lieing through your teeth and being selfish.

You should treat fans with respect but consider what the fans sometimes say and how that must affect a manager. It works both ways.

  14. No ones suggesting he did anything unlawful.

Ally's sense of entitlement is the crux of the issue here, that and his wonky moral compass that only points to his pocket.

I'd say he'd earned it with his football career as a player. He is to this day the highest goal scorer we ever had. And his name and the clubs name are synonymous with one another.
