    Exactly

it was me that said 20 million but I meant a good manager and spending it right - our clubs idea so far would be to ship out a dozen players and use this 20 million to replace them with guys like Greg Kiltie, Paul Cadden, Louis Moult, Jamie Walker, Jordan Jones etc

    no more average shite please

Moult is average, I agree... but in an average league would he bully defences, yes, score... been proven so, is he the answer probably not, but would he do a job.... yes if we play to his strengths

    Excellent post.

The ultimate false dawn. The players we have lauded on here shat it today. Docherty Murphy Goss Morelos Windass. Your chance was today. Once again it was proven that we have recruited well below Celtics level. Clear out needed in summer. I will admit it is far harder to accept being let down by our apparent own. Rangers fans yes, Rangers quality, no.

I certainly didn’t see the first two players in that post ‘shite it’ today

  3. Aye, canny beat being invited along to armed forces day, never been on the roof mind lol funny thing is how many fans of other teams both English and in Scotland who grab the opportunity to parade at Ibrox with real Rangers fans, yet after the weekend go back to being bitter as fuck about our club! Hopefully get invited along again this year Rule Britania, Great pics Royal ??

  4. Yeah my initial thought was govanblue, but his work with Erskine etc the boy needs a break now and again lol I've had a good lead PM'd to me so hopefully they can steer me in the right direction and give advice on how to run it, if I can make it happen would be great PR for both the ship and our club, mind you if the hammer plays I'm no standing in any wall for a FK ?

  5. Evening lads,

just wondering if anyone has any idea how you go about organising a game against the Legends team? As the military football season is almost over the QE2 ships football team are looking at organising games in Scotland to keep us ticking over (and it gets us out of work for a day to play football). I know the the Rangers charity donate to the forces charities so I was looking at that angle, and if we could put it on do you think with the correct advertisement people would like to come along and watch and instead of paying donate what you can at the gate to RNRMC?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

  6. Some very good points made and thanks for the input, it is pertinent to me because I work both sides of the border and it seems wrong that as a serviceman I can go to jail for singing a song on oneside of the border but on the other side at worst I would be done for breach of the peace if I was singing in the street but not in a football stadium...... Speaks volumes that the champions of the OBA are now saying its a breach of freedom of speech when certain members of public get arrested

He's probably the most clevererest guy on RM and he knows the Law,

And also how to download youtube videos if your interested

Cheers mate, my main point was, as a serviceman the armed forces act doesn't acknowledge this Scottish law as far as I can find out, but if convicted of any offence I'd still get done for bringing the forces into disrepute, which I'm fine with to a degree ie drink driving, fighting etc stuff that's easy to accept to being wrong if you know what I mean

  8. Fair point I didn't elaborate on my post, my point is how can I be convicted of an offence in Scotland yet it has no legal precedence in the rest of the U.K., but should I fall foul of this national law and then be punished for bringing the Armed Forces in to disrepute where would I stand... It's not the same as breaking local speed limits or drink driving

  9. Before I start, I don't post much on here, so I know I'm going to get hit with the usual "less than 100 posts" banter, so please bear with me, I work on the east coast at this moment in time but travel over to Glasgow every weekend I can, it's taken me 17 years in the forces to get this job, I own a flat 15 mins from Ibrox in cardonald and I'm loving life just now, every weekend off just about and I sit with a great bunch of lads that are primeraly forces or ex forces. So to the point of my post, while scottish law is a legal valid conviction, I posed the question tonight to a military copper, that if I was alleged to be singing a song that in Scotland is illegal where would I stand in military and English law...... his answer, you follow the law of the country your convicted in and we will deal with you retrospectively, so I asked if I didn't get a jail term in Scotland what would the armed forces act convict me off..... Answer..... Not sure but I wouldn't waste my time because England has no offensive behaviour act to start with and any decent lawyer down here would rip us apart at a court martial... ??? greatest wee country in the world.... Only if your offended at everything
