  1. Absolutely, it needs to have more consistency. It's a bit like under 10's Sunday league. Everyone will get a game and it's the taking part that counts
  2. Great point. Not only would it encourage harder training but it would also encourage that when a sub does come on, they are playing their fucking arse off to earn a start in the following game!
  3. No striker can score if he's not getting any quality delivery. If you watch that YouTube vid (I know it was from 2 seasons ago but bear with me) if we can get that sort of service to him he should come good. I reckon it's about time we try getting more crosses into the box because walking it into the net clearly won't wash in the top teir. Edit: To labour my point, the goal against the filth is a prime example of what he could do with the right quality of service!
  4. I really hope we do. Queen of the South on Tuesday in the cup. I'd never write them off but it's a real chance to change things up and instil some much needed confidence in our attack and get likes of Garner, Waghorn, Windass and Forrester on the score sheet as they are probably the most capable
  5. Of course not, I just think it's a bit premature for fans to be calling for his head at this stage, like i said just my opinion.
  6. A fair point, I still just think it's too hasty for fans to be calling for his head right now. But you're absolutely right, he needs to make some drastic changes and quickly.
  7. Okay with the exception of the Barton Halliday spat, but we all know Barton is probably one of the most hot headed and vocal players in professional football. I stand by my opinion
  8. And who would we get in? I'm with the majority here in that the performances and results have been frustrating, but a change of manager would surely cause even more unrest. Warburton is the reason a lot of these players came here, would they really respond better under someone else? I think he maintains a good harmony in the squad, and they players respect him, but something hasn't clicked and I don't think binning the manager is the solution. Just my opinion.
  9. This. It looks like the only player capable of giving him any sort of service is Tav. And the amount of times McKay could have put the ball into the box first time but instead cuts it back onto his right and allows the defence to regroup is soul destroying. I think he's still getting a game based on his performance against the taigs in the semi final, cause he's not done much since.
  10. Completely agree. Forrester not playing in this game was a crime. He should have come on for instead of Kranjcar (although he wasn't bad, I think Forrester would have added more to the game) Fodderingham's save was outstanding. We'd have a goal difference of -12 instead of -2 right now if not for him. The brutal truth is whether we like or not we're stuck with what we've got. I've said it over and again today, it's going to take a change of tactics and formations from week to week depending on who we face in order to start seeing results...
  11. B all the way. He could have them playing like Barcelona in training for all I give a fuck but it counts for nothing if they can't deliver the goods on match day.
  12. Wholeheartedly agree with your first paragraph and reluctantly agree with the second. I really like Warburton, I think he has the makings to be a great manager if he can learn to adapt from opposition to opposition. This single service game plan of 'do plan A better' is killing us.
  13. I genuinely thought the team was more pacey without him today. I also thought Halliday did well in pushing forward but to be fair he had little need to drop back as Ross County parked the bus for 90 minutes and did it well. I firmly believe that the issue doesn't just lie with the team selection, it's Warburton's stubbornness to have any change in tactics or formation. Our last game in the season is Partick at home and it wouldn't surprise me if them and every team we play inbetween already has their game plan laid out for us. Can see us coming a mile away...
  14. Don't know what to say after that. There were some positives to take from it, but I can't understand how none of our players could finish. Tav and Windass should have both been on the scoresheet no doubt about it. In my opinion the lack in versatility of our tactics is going to be our downfall unless Warberton does something different and fast! We literally threw everything we had at them today. If we can't break down teams like Ross County, we'll be struggling to be in the top 5 come Christmas.
  15. Looks like it's down to big Kenny to get a 93rd minute winner
  16. Unreal man!!! Had 2 players making perfect run into the box ahead of the defence, low ball in first time it's a guaranteed tap in!!
  17. PUT IT IN THE BOX FIRST TIME BARRIE FOR FUXXAKE!!! cuts it back every time and lets the defence get back. Unreal man
