    Totally agree.

we can get much better than the others without matching Celtics spending. If we improve drastically without breaking the bank - dropping less points to Aberdeen, hearts st johnstone etc it's a totally different league. On another night we could have beat Celtic at ibrox.

They are ahead of us but i but I have faith we will catch them in the next two seasons - sensibly.

how'd you work that out we are 19points behind them in 2nd isn't exactly hot on there heels mate

we need to invest in 4 quality players this summer or now to start closing the gap

CB,CDM,CAM,CF get that then we can talk about challenging them

I agree with you totally. My point is we don't need to break the bank to do it.

Of course we need to improve on our transfer policy but at the minute can you see us spending £4-5m on a player.

Krancjar and Barton had potential to be excellent signings which haven't panned out but players with their undoubted quality (and a better psychological state than Barton) will come.

Celtics team during the 9 in a row years was a lot  closer than we are to them now.

Nevermind the fact that if we do get closer to them they have a shitload of cash stashed away to strengthen whenever they want.

They could go out tomorrow and buy a player that costs more than the next starting 11 we put out and still have plenty in the bank.

The way the league is, as long as we become much stronger than Aberdeen we will challenge Celtic. Next season they won't have it all their own way in one OFF matches and will drop points along the way. We need to do the business consistently against the rest - they won't be able to buy the next four titles.

Dont get me wrong we need to strengthen - but atm we don't need to compete in spending.
