Anyone who tries to tell me Josh Windass had a good game on Hogmanay doesn't have a clue about football. One of the worst performances in an old firm game I've ever seen.

Anyone who tells me Barrie Mckay is currently worth £15million doesn't have a clue about football and will be greetin when he goes for less than £5million in the summer - assuming a team will pay that for a player who has 4 goals and 4 assists so far this season in Scotland.

McKay was our best player that day. He was the only one that tried to make things happen and the only time we looked like scoring was when he got the ball in the final third.

Not sure what you're issue is with McKay, when he's in the mood he's the best player in our squad by a mile and the only one we can hope to get a decent transfer fee for.

He is the best player in our squad on form and when he is in the mood. Sadly that's every 4 or 5 games. Go to soccer base and check his stats.

He wasn't even close to being our best player against the taigs- that's just a delusional rambling of someone trying to find a positive from an inept performance. Miller, hill, windass and foderingham were much better than mckay that day. It's a fact plain and simple.

Windass was fucking abysmal in the old firm game, possibly the worst player on the park.

What about mckay? Windass contributions were the assist and he created two or three chances. What did mckay contribute. Only instances that ended in a chance, assist or goal? Watch the game back - there are none.

    Maybe, outfield wise 100%.

Miller - who scored - played better, even including his howler.

windass - with the fantastic assist - caused them issues with his passing.

mckay - skinned lustig once, never created a chance, an assist or scored. I still don't get what his contribution to the team was against the scum. His running, getting into the final third and giving the ball away? Bravo ????

Clint hill also played better than him.

Aye in a team that's been shite all season. Not sure what you expect, he cant do it all himself.

That's the point. He hasn't done it. One of many player - all players who haven't done it.

He throws a nice turn in every couple of weeks and it's like attracting fish with a lure. Aww wee Barrie is fantastic, he's worth £15million etc.

The reality is that he isn't worth anywhere near that.

However, if he performs like that with consistency until the rest of the season - especially against the scum - then obviously I'll be on the other side of the fence

    It's still a Garner?

    Aye lol.

Its about the delusional opinion that if only he played up front with another striker he'd be a different player yada yada yada. He's pish plain and simple

Disagree mate. Play Hyndman on the wing and I doubt anyone would be raving about him.

Because Hyndman is not a winger. He's a very intelligent CAM.

Mckay has good feet, not a lot of assists/end product. He is not better than hyndman in CAM and frankly the notion is silly.

Hearts Aberdeen Tarriers StJ, 4 really good games in 2017.

Hopefully even more in a good team

Ok. Hearts and Aberdeen were in December. He scored against hearts, I'll give you that one but against Aberdeen and tarriers he done nothing. Against the scum he made one good turn, skinned their RB then got fouled - he done nothing else. No assists, no goals no chances created.

One good game in 2017 - against StJ - a good game against hearts in December and not a lot else.

His tracking back and willingness to try and win back the ball was excellent. Aye he missed out on a few challeneges but my biggest critisim of his used to be that he didn't get stuck in enough.

    £15 million.

£1.5 million. £15million players do it every week at a higher standard against better players.

Im glad he finally showed up, and hopefully he will for the rest of the season - but one good game since October?! £15million is way off reality

He's wasted on the wing. Play him central and I think he'd be better than Hyndman

No he wouldn't be. He hasn't got the brain of hyndman. His stats this season are shocking. They make james Forrests and Jonny Hayes look like rivaldo and that's saying something as they are pish. It will take more than one goal and a nice turn for me to change my mind on him. He's inconsistent and does nothing a LOT more than he gets assists or goals

Not too interested in the stats. Neither are our problem players. We have much worse elsewhere.

McKay is about the only one we have that can actually create something and is one of our more talented players

pick another couple to have a go at. Kiernan and Halliday should get the likes up.

You should care about the stats. The same stats which say mckay creates nothing. He looks good with the ball at his feet but there is never end product.

Garner and Barton alone are 4million. Then there's O'Halloran, Dodoo, Alnwick, Windass. Then wages on the likes of Kranjcar, Senderos, Rossiter, Hill.

All that before factoring in the new contracts given to Kiernan, Halliday, Tavernier and the likes. It's not difficult to see where the money went.

Warburton wasted a lot of money on a lot of shite. He wasn't good enough and he failed. Simple as that.

True words. Kings mistake was not questioning warburton and mcparlands singing policy while it was happening. Hindsight is always 20/20 and calling him out in December was too late.

I can see where A LOT of money was invested. Because fans don't see the net spend and only see £250k for rossiter etc they don't think any money has been pumped in. People must remember the deficit we have been operating at for the past 4 and a half years.

  13. I like king. If the board show ambition with their choice in gaffer and improve the side in the summer we can't (but will complain). People forget the end of the Murray era, Whyte and greens subsequent reigns.

He has my backing - which is fickle and if Billy Davies takes the helm it will be gone lol

  14. I back King on the matter. 100%. As far as the £30m investment in players go, £18m NET so far... you can probably do the math on that - looking at full contracts over their full terms... it's probably accurate.

This isn't football manager where you lay £18m direct on a few players lol.

FdB in. King is in the unique position where he can redeem himself and galvanise the support this summer. Get FdB, back him show ambition and the majority of the fans will change their tune.

The options being trolled out other than De Boer are really fucking depressing.

McLeish, Davies, Wright oh fuck, pass me the razor blades please.

The clamour for unproven or proved failures frightens me. Hearing McCann, Pardew, redknapp etc sends shivers down my spine.

mccann talks a good game on sky and was a half decent player - nothing to warrant any involvement.

pardew and redknapp have left clubs relegated and in such dire financial situations with recklessly poor transfers they would give me nightmares. Plus redknapps own tax problems proves his moral fibre is found wanting.

We have FdB saying he's interested. 4in a row in holland which is, of coarse a decent league. There's star appeal, would show the board mean business - get bums on seats and he wouldn't come without backing in the summer. He is the best name touted no question.

Always liked Alan Pardew.........just my opinion obviously, no gonna happen

He's another gaffer that immediately improves a team. Gets a transfer window and takes them backwards. Gets another transfer window and gets them near relegation

  17. Michael Laudrup is a possibility

Gio will be on to much money at fayenoord to be realistic

frank de boer is unemployed but would be high wages - if the board push the boat out it would be inspired

    Davies won't be asked

mcinnes and wright are realistic and will be at least considered - but uninspired

rowett would be a good shout

    Kenny Miller might get it?

Nigel Pearson - dark horse - very good shout
