Bloody hell, didn't see that coming ?
It's funny isn't it. The least clairvoyant or knowledgeable football fan speculated he's was down speaking to forest on Wednesday. Not a clever man

At the end of the day he should have been sacked immediately after the game at Tynecastle, his away record was an absolute disgrace.
Thats the standards that should be set. Pretty sure if it was Ally, McCall, le guen, mcleish, advocaat or the next gaffer they would be gone.

Pretty sure in Scotland a verbal offer is just as binding as a written one (not so in England).
You are correct sir. There's not a court in our fair country that will award the dirty trio any monies.
They fucked up

fair play tho, he showed his colours ??

Sky sports have now confirmed the forest rumour. Apparently there was an offer for the trio on Wednesday that never came to fruition - Lockwood tried to extend the terms until the end of the season but the board ratified the terms with king today and ended their reign. Apparently they were getting the sack next week anyway and board have now saved £700k.
MW has been a snake.

Not reading through this whole thread, has he resigned or not ?
Reports are saying his agent was fishing for the Forest job, agreed terms to leave, forest went with Brazil, the agent Lockwood tried to have the agreement continue to the end of the season, the bored got pissed off and accepted the original terms - whether he resigned or not is unclear. What is clear is that he's gone. And a snake to boot

cunts went for the forest job and it fell through

Guaranteed that's what happened. Trio of muppets. Why would Forrest want them based on this season? Clowns

Wait, I'm in Nottingham!
Maybe I'm going to be signed!
What's your credentials? Are you mid twenties, never shown any ability to play football at an average level?
Or are you early thirties, played at a high level once apon a time, without really being that good, attitude and fitness problems?
if so warburton is probably stalking you ?

He's in Nottingham, hopefully taking over there

Last time when he was match fit it was like he was wearing lead boots. He's murder

I like PRW suggestion of Jokanovic. Still a bit inexperienced at a decent level.
Still top of my list is Biesla and Redknapp. It's the calibre we should be aiming for, someone better than what they've got. Regardless of how much we hate them etc all about the Rangers were judged against them
Redknapp ain't better than they have got. The man spends clubs into the ground and relegates them. Apart from spurs, he shepparded ramos team to top four.

Taig provan may be, but he's a correct one. Garner is our Wayne Biggins

Every team's co-efficient includes the country co-efficient which is often enough to see you seeded depending on which country you are from (See Southampton in EL for example in their first year in Europe).
Suspects Scotland's wont be high enough though.
Every club has an individual coefficient too

Garner is just a poor footballer and only good footballers can play as the lone striker for Rangers and do the job well.
What did he score last season in the English championship- like 6 goals in 40 odd games.
He gets stuck in, wears his heart on his sleeve yada yada yada - that's not good enough. Especially for the better part of £2m.
People need to wake up and smell the coffee - he's wrank. No evidence to the contrary

The majority of his goals have been in the third tier of English football.
At championship level his goals per game ratio is decidedly average.
It's well below average. It's average for a centre half

He does have a philosophy.
Solid defence, sit back and soak up pressure waiting for the opening then counter. Similar to Leicester last season and Atletico.
Managers like rowett adapt to their squad and the team they are playing. They don't rigidly stick to one philosophy like MW

what teams has miller managed?
What teams had pep, ginger bheast, conte, Enrique, zidane, souness etc managed before managing their clubs. Players who had brains and passion for their clubs stepped up and had success. None of this 1-1 at home to ross county is ok pish we have now
-
Miller is also a shout. He's got a footballing brain, he's thick skinned and is a winner. He doesn't settle for second best. It would be similar to when the bheasts hired an ex player/trouble maker/traitor (who shall remain nameless) he turned a shite side around overnight - they were still shite but they didn't drop points. This whole philosophy, total football pish needs to stop. We need wins. Miller (probably), mcinnes, rowett would bring that.

We absolutely should be aiming higher than a manager like Rodgers, even if it cuts into our transfer budget.
We should be linked with managers like Prandelli, Schaaf and Marcelo Biesla.
We'll probably be linked with Gary Rowett, Lee Johnson and Mike Phelan.
We'll end up, sadly, with McInnes, Davies or Tommy Wright
Rowett would be a shout. None of the philosophy pish just results

Don't get the clamour for him at all. A sideways step at best.
How can it be. He's achieving virtually the same as MW with a quarter of the funding. A quarter of the fans and (on paper minus Hayes) a quarter of the squad ability wise

Now it's been confirmed that all 3 Scottish representatives enter at first round , first game June 29th, is it really a good thing to be playing in this?
players won't be getting a proper break and it's not inconceivable that with the way we are playing we might be out first round.
Obviously it's cracking for the bears as it gives us a wee trip but will it be good for the team.
Not really. There's no real capital in the competition and we will have to play 4 rounds before the groups. If this is kings hope for a cash injection things are even worse than they appear
