  1. The players have had more than their fair share of the blame & there's a list that should be punted ASAP End of the day though the manager always faces the backlash, it's much easier to get rid of a manager instead of 10/15 players.
  2. We have a massive squad of players and some promising youths, it's been Gio's choice not to play them & it's his fault he ran our best player into the ground before he got injured. He's clearly burnt bridges already with players like Barisic, Davis & Kamara to a lesser extent. I agree that the team needs a clear out as it's stale as fuck but Gio isn't the guy we should be trusting to do that, he's shown absolutely nothing which shows we can trust him. You've just said it yourself a fat unknown Aussie has schooled him twice now & it'll likely be a 15/20 point swing by the end of the season from when Gio arrived.
  3. Gio came in, we got the initial bounce as most clubs do then when he had time to work with the players (the winter break) we came back & have been shocking ever since. Board have to shoulder some blame but the vast majority is on Gio. The tarriers best players weren't signed in January, they've been there all season.
  4. Some people seem to be saying he deserves time etc, for me he's already done. However if he loses the semi, watches them win a treble and ends up double figures behind them in the league (which all look likely btw) he'll lose any support he has left & the board will be forced to act Just seems a waste of time waiting for that to happen when we can act now
  5. And how did that work out? Gio has taken us from 4 clear when he arrived to a team that on current form could easily finish double figures behind the tarriers & watch them win a treble. And yet we're expecting him to oversee a massive rebuild, allowing him to bring more in more hidden gems like James Sands? Hiring him has already set us back massively, giving him the summer window is essentially admitting we're happy to be 2nd best.
  6. No I don't really care about it tbh, was just stating that's all the cup means now, stopping them getting a treble, we've fucked the thing that mattered. Options are... Keep Gio in charge and try and win a cup which will mean very little in the grand scale & tbh right now I'd fully expect Gio to be 0-3 after Hampden. Or pull the plug, accept he's been a terrible appointment and start early for next season. Use the rest of this season to give players like King, Lowry, McCrorie some game time to see if they're going to be able to contribute long term Keeping Gio till the summer is just prolonging the agony and basically handing them the title next season.
  7. Let's be honest we aren't winning the Europa, been a class run & they've had more than enough plaudits for it but we'll lose eventually & I wouldn't be surprised if its to Braga after yesterday. The heads are down going into it and with no Morelos we'll struggle. As for the cup, it means absolutely nothing if you don't win the league. The only thing we're playing for now is to stop them winning another treble & that's solely on Gio.
  8. Then we'd be aswell congratulating celtic on their title next season & possibly beyond Sticking with Gio any longer just puts us further and further behind, need to accept it hasn't worked and move on very quickly. If he wasn't an ex player, who people liked, he would 100% have been gone today now the leagues done
  9. Actually surprised that we're sitting at 9.30 and he's still not out the door yet, genuinely believed he would've been sacked 1st thing this morning No point pretending he's going to turn into a decent manager in a few months & we can't afford to give him whatever money we get in the summer
  10. Why does the semi and piggery even matter anymore? Best case he can bring in a cup and a 2nd place after a few pumpings... Should bite the bullet now
  11. Difference between wanting him gone and thinking he'll be gone Do I want him gone...100%, out the door in the morning if its me and prepare for next season, who gives a fuck about the cup Do I think he'll be gone...nope he's the boards mouthpiece and will stay in the role as long as possible as quite simply he has nowhere else to go if he fails here.
  12. He was 4 clear, with a league winning squad VS an unknown squad with an unknown manager... Worst Worst case, he loses by a small margin As it stands, he's fucked
  13. If he decides 🤣 Cunt doesn't even deserve the chance to decide, he's been pumped twice off an unknown Aussie & will potentially lose the title by miles, on current form I wouldn't be surprised if its double figures As it stands, Gio will be lucky to ever have another managerial role after us, he deserves fuck all
  14. I agree, if i was him I'd stay put Looking at him from a fans POV, he's a slightly better Sakala who shouldn't be anywhere nearly the club Today was his big chance. He showed hes shitebag Thank you and goodbye
  15. Before he came we were 4 clear 4 months later we are 6 behind, the leagues done and we're facing a pumping in the cup The board have had zero involvement
  16. 11 players desperate to win the title (backed with a half decent manager) Vs 11 players, with a pish manager trying to retain a title The difference is clear
  17. Roofe 🤣🤣 Would be 1 of the first cunts out the door!
  18. Reasons we have fallen behind.. GVB Thanks 👍
  19. Completely flip that, Gio has only 1 style that the rest of the league sussed out after 5/6 games Either way, if Ange wins the league this season we can't rely on the guy who lost it to them
  20. There's a resson why he's willing to sign a 5 year deal...because he knows he's going to a Burton Albion if he doesn't
  21. Get to fuck, simple as that.
