minstral 5,375
was just thinking of the World record that we created in 1930, by winning every competition that we entered. Scottish League, Scottish FA cup, Glasgow Cup, Charity CUP, Second X1 CUP, and Reserve League CUP. Fantastic Haul of Trophys.
royalbluebell 38
A great achievement Minstral. Also in that year we went to America and Canada for the close season tour. Just been reading a bit about it: Many emotional scene marked that trip with tears in the eyes of many exiled Scots, young and old, who told us they had travelled many miles for the sight of the colours they loved, and to stare hungrily in the faces of their countrymen. Scenes like those made us realise that our very presence meant infinately more than merely winning matches. We played 14, Won 14, Scored 68 goals, Lost 20.
