Anyway, cracking young player, who is going to get better, and I look forward to seeing him develop throughout the rest of the season.

Shame, because he was turning into a cracking player - picked up an injury that they could not diagnose, and he started drinking heavily. Now he's injured again, and out for the majority of the season.

He was outstanding yesterday. In fact the whole Sunderland team were outstanding but I thought Wellbeck had a better game than Henderson.

Never been too impressed with the lad especially when you compare him with the likes of Wilshere/Ramsey who look technically gifted.

Think he has a long way to go to even be a regular for club around 4-8 place in EPL, certainly needs to score and provide more goals.

Henderson and Wilshere are the two premiership players with the most potential to make it at international level.

Fair enough mate, you probably have seem him more times than myself.

Just going by what I have seen from each player, I will be the first to admit I was wrong if he goes on to play at the top level.

I see where you are coming from with this, especially this season where he's struggled in a few games. I think that's partly down to all the hype surrounding him. I would not have been too harsh on him because it was his first game but he hardly touched the ball all night.

I just feel when you watch Wilshere or Ramsey even when playing in the harder games you see them on the ball often and trying to make things happen, don't see it with Henderson.
