Jordan Henderson

It's not even like Henderson plays in a league that's hard to find coverage of.

Comment on a player from England now and you're accused of being an FM merchant. Fucking hell, some very naive people on RM :anguish:

Especially when he's been a regular, and chipped in with 2-3 goals, and a few assists, along with a couple of MOTM award's, in all competitions this season.

Anyway, cracking young player, who is going to get better, and I look forward to seeing him develop throughout the rest of the season.

Hope he doesn't go the way of Michael Johnson at Man City. He looked a promising player but has had terrible luck with injuries in the past two years.

And is now a fat bastard

Shame, because he was turning into a cracking player - picked up an injury that they could not diagnose, and he started drinking heavily. Now he's injured again, and out for the majority of the season.

Never been too impressed with the lad especially when you compare him with the likes of Wilshere/Ramsey who look technically gifted.

Think he has a long way to go to even be a regular for club around 4-8 place in EPL, certainly needs to score and provide more goals.

He played well yesterday but was 5 or so who were better for Sunderland. Sunderland have not been that good this season and he has not stood out, imo.

Got to disagree with most of that mate, although I agree he needs to score more goals.

Henderson and Wilshere are the two premiership players with the most potential to make it at international level.

Fair enough mate, you probably have seem him more times than myself.

Just going by what I have seen from each player, I will be the first to admit I was wrong if he goes on to play at the top level.

I see where you are coming from with this, especially this season where he's struggled in a few games. I think that's partly down to all the hype surrounding him. If people aren't careful they could end up ruining him faster than you could say "England world cup winners 2014!" IMO he has all the tools in his locker to be a top player and in the next few years I think he will be.

Very true, too much hype in young players in England that can really hurt them in their development.

I hope the lad goes on and gets better each season.

Watched the lad very closely last night and for me he looked completely out of his depth.

I would not have been too harsh on him because it was his first game but he hardly touched the ball all night.

I just feel when you watch Wilshere or Ramsey even when playing in the harder games you see them on the ball often and trying to make things happen, don't see it with Henderson.

The whole England team was shit last night!
