klbs-RFC 21 Posted May 14, 2010 Share Posted May 14, 2010 Infinity Ward has detailed the second map pack for Modern Warfare 2.Titled Resurgence, it will feature three new maps and two remakes from Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.The returning maps include 'Vacant' and 'Strike', while the new maps are titled 'Trailer Park', 'Carnival' and 'Fuel', according to VG247.The new trio will offer a range of play styles, with 'Fuel' emphasising sniper fire and long distance play, and 'Trailer Park' being dense and filled with cover spots.While no price was announced, it will be expected to launch at 1200 Microsoft Points / £10.99 like the Stimulus Package in April.The pack has been confirmed for a June 3 release on Xbox Live, and will release on PSN and PC a month later. --------------------------More on the new maps The new levels are Trailer Park (a ‘super condensed’ maze-style map), Carnival (an abandoned amusement park) and Fuel (large, sniper-friendly and set in an oil refinery). klbs-RFC 21 Posted June 14, 2010 Author Share Posted June 14, 2010 Modern Warfare 2 expansion the Resurgence Pack will be available for PC and PS3 next month.The add-on was released for Xbox 360 on June 3 as a timed exclusive, but will arrive on the other platforms in July.Expected to be the final map pack for the game, the DLC adds five additional stages - Vacant and Strike from the first Modern Warfare and the new Carnival, Trailer Park and Fuel levels.Resurgence Pack will be available to download for PC and PS3 on July 6 in North America and July 7 in Europe.
