None of the matches will be broadcast live.Neil Doncaster, Chief Executive of the SPL, said: “The SPL is committed to supporting our clubs’ efforts to increase attendances and improve the matchday experience for fans. Working with the Police and our colleagues at the SFL and Scottish FA, these fixtures have been chosen as a pilot and with the supporters very much in mind. We would encourage fans to get in touch and let us hear their views and feedback on Friday night football in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.”David Longmuir, Chief Executive of the SFL, said: “We are delighted to have come to a position where Friday night football is being given a chance. Following close cooperation and consultation with the Police, the SPL, and the SFA, the SFL are looking forward to testing the positive impact that Friday night games may have. Our Football Communities are our lifeblood and we must try to give fans as much choice as possible in when they can watch their team.” http://www.scottishfootballleague.com/news/article/spl--sfl-joint-press-release/

PaulRFC1 115
Was there not some talk of an Old Firm game being played on a Friday? As long as it's not involving Rangers, playing on a Friday night would be shit.It would be chaos too.An Old Firm on a friday night its that stupid I believe it may happen, the people in charge are clueless.Didn't they move the new year game to a midweek kick off aswell? to avoid violence even tho the midweek game was the most violent one last season
