IanFerguson2012 123
The reason so few people came forward to buy last year was the potentially massive tax bill. That issue was successfully resolved so our marketability will have soared. Without knowing the current shares split it's impossible to know how easy it would be to buy Rangers. The potential buyer needs to get a large percentage of the current shareholders willing to sell and I though Charlie was trying to set things up so that wouldn't happen. As to our value we have the stadium, the training ground, the value of the squad, the earning capacity of the club and the league we play in to take into account. My guess is that today a buyer might get the club for around £50 million.
