King_gazza 1,065
My ps3 is completely fucked.Struggle to play a game of fifa before it crashes, hell be lucky if it loads without crashing & struggling to read discs. It's now even making crazy noises now & again Where's the best/cheapest place to get it fixed? Or would it be best to just buy a 2nd hand/new console?Edit: Completely wiped my console aswell, think i made it worse
The Godfather 72,665
They are like £199 new now so you could easily pick up a second hand one for about £80.You won't get it fixed if its knackered, would costs just about the same as getting a new one tbh. The one i've got now is 2nd hand & lasted just over 3 years, that cost about £100.Might just buy brand new though, controller's took a right battering Edit: G Force is cheapest i can find £174 for console & game. Might try get the controller instead.
The Godfather 72,665
I've been through 2.Got YLOD on the fat first edition I had from launch about 2 years ago, torched the heat pads and got it working again for a few weeks then it packed in again. wheresmymonkey 17
Try phoning Sony, as they'll get you a reconditioned one around £100.

It was cheaper for me to get a new one than what they offered to do with my knackered PS3.
