mclovin9091 1,405 Posted February 1, 2019 Share Posted February 1, 2019 They buy someone just to stop another team getting them (lets use Scott Arsehole Allan) he sits on the bench some of the time, plays a few minutes and then gets fucked off on loan. Are they not wasting a lot of money just to stop us (or someone else) from having him? It depends how you look at it, if them loaning out players to other teams helps those teams take points off us and weakening that team against them, then it’s not a big price to pay for somebody like SA, it could make a difference where you finish in the league. would Aberdeen have finished above us without Christie? Or would hibs have run us close for 3rd last year without Allan, as bad as we were, probably no. right now our team do the tarriers job for them at times, so maybe not a big issue right now, but next season it could be.
