The winner of the title this year is in the group stages, so there will be no danger of Scotland losing a place in the near future. We stand and fall by what we do , we ( Rangers) are not and should never be looking to celtic for favours, you seem to be looking for some sort of moral high ground when there is none to found. Scotland currently sit in eleventh place in the Country Ranking table. We have to finish in ninth place for our title winner to be guaranteed an automatic group place. Did anyone notice,especially in the first half,how Spartaks forwards were able to go through the scum defence at will? The number of through balls inside the full backs and both defenders were skinned for pace every time. IMO Spartak were their own worst enemies last night. They had the beating of the defenders every time and always wanted one more pass to make sure. Any team with a cutting edge should horse Celtic every time. I,m doubtfull if we are at that level yet,but that Tic defence,theres more life in a disprin. For the first time in a number of years we have a bit of pace up front,and last night showed me that Celtic are there for the taking.I doubt if we will need as many passes as Spartak before shooting. Careful Blue Cyclops you're in danger of taking this thread off-topic onto the subject of football! You make a good point. Even with Pressley benched, Celtic's back-line looks pretty fragile and I'm hopeful we finally have the power at the back and up front to give them a proper hiding.
