Rangers manager Walter Smith is heading to Italy wirth chief executive Martin Bain for a final day transfer swoop.

Sampdoria striker Andrea Caracciolo is the subject of a £7m bid from the Ibrox club.

The 26 year old striker has been offered a 4 year deal worth £27,000 a week.

Rangers back up keeper Roy Carrol has completed his move to Derby.

Fulham's Simon Davies could be on his way to Ibrox on a loan deal until the end of the season.

And Birmingham's Frank Quedrue is hoping Rangers will firm up their interest for a last minute move to Ibrox

That's a lot more like it. This lad is f*cken awesome. Martin O'Neill made a big mistake getting rid of him.

Can't see it tho. Far to big a player to allow out on loan or sell.

As well as being able to play, he's Rangers daft!

But he's not been playing on a regular basis and as u say he's a big blue nose!

I'd be surprised too, but this is the kinda player we should be targetting so we can live in hope.

Cheers mate, started to question what i'd heard for a while there.

Was sure i wasnt hearing things but hey the last day of the TW is complete pandemonium and theres 6 more hours to go!!
