OrangeBurn 57
Well looking at the performance of the team this season, would we be right in thinking the 4 main players that could see us over the finishing line are... Allan McGergor - Coped with the media very well. Has been our saviour when our defence unusually slip up. Carlos Cúellar - Best defender in the SPL, and in the top 5 in Britain, Cool, calm, composed, doesn't look at all tierd. Kevin Thomson - With Fergie looking understandably tierd and playing through the pain barrier, Kevin was Fantastic against Hibs and he is fresh after some time out, his freshness could be vital in the midfield. Nacho Novo - The wee man has always given 110%, rarely runs out of steam, partnered by Cousin maybe, from now till the end of the season, might start banging the goals in. Could this be the backbone of a successful Quadruple this season ... ?
Frankie 505
It's hard to consider individuals when our results have definitely improved because of our team play generally... However, McGregor, Cuellar, Ferguson, Cousin and JCD are probably the key players we need to play as often as possible between now and the season end. Others such as Weir, Davis, Thomson, Novo and Boyd will prove important but perhaps not in terms of immediate boosts to our morale and system as the ones above. It was difficult to include Ferguson ahead of Thomson or Davis because he's been so average this season but his stats do show he's valuable and when he doesn't play paradoxically we do still seem to miss him. rfc_no1fan 13
Do you honesty believe Novo is one of the 4 main players at Rangers? He's an impact player at best, usually does his best work when the opposition are tired and the game is stretched. The other 3 players are extremely important. However....... Davis has been the best player at Rangers for 4-5 weeks, he contines to improve and is probably one of the first names on the teamsheet. We also need Barry Ferguson to up his games. Injuries are not an excuse. We need 1 final push from everyone at Rangers.
