SuperRangers 2 Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 Right i have just set my ps3 up for online play etc with a wired connection, the thing is when i plug the cable in to the back of my Virgin media modem it stops my from using the internet on my PC as well and something pops up on my PC about limited or no connectivity ? j1mgg 3,766 Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 if you are trying to use the modem for both this will not work you will have to buy a router. If you have a router you can set both up manually and give them static ip adresses but sometimes just right clicking on the connection in the bottom right corner of the pc and choosing repair can fix this Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
