J_RFC87 766
We don't have a problem in the defence or forward line, really starting to struggle in midfield now espicially for wide men. McCulloch Adam Out for the season Burke doesn't look that much better Naismith isn't looking good. Leaves us with: center Ferguson Davis Thomson Hemdani Dailly Buffel RM Whitaker Novo who can play right mid, but would struggle at left mid. What can we do for LM now? Don't mention Gow, there's no point.

mark_ni 12
its not looking good but thats why we have a big squad, maybe bring effrem up from the reserves/under 19s? Hes a left winger i think?? We knew this would be a problem with playing so many games.

blueben_d 40
fleck isnt a wide player and it would be an injustice to throw him in out of position
papaguy51 941
Well, there's no getting away from the fact that Buffel and Gow may well be called on. Buffel's been our spark today, no reason why Gowser can't have the same effect if he ever gets a chance.
J_RFC87 766
Buffell did look good when he came on, lively, nice touch. Still with his original problems though, gets pushed of the ball too easily and shows the ball to the defender too much. Can't read too much into his performance vs. St johnstone (the same way everyone dismissed Gow vs. East Stirling and East Fife) though, although it has been refreshing. Well with McCulloch, Adam, Dailly etc then we have a plentiful supply of 'hammer throwers'. Need to mix that with some footballers, hence why Buffel should be introduced. We didn't sign Buffel to hump players off the ball or hold balls up with his body strength.
Boab 73
Whats the worry? Its not as we've been hitting the bye-line that much all season anyway?
excoriate 0
Broadfoot will end up at left mid.
Boab 73
Seriously, its bodies we're lacking. Out of that list the only natural winger is Burke from either side.

I dont think we can really judge him on one game back, hes been out for a while and it takes time to get up to speed but hes looked lively and has contributed more than cousin has done. Has his faults yes but so do a lot of players.
evenstevens 945
Yes, I was absolutely delighted with the way Buffel, the saviour, put 1st Division St Johnstone to the sword today. Especially in the second half and in extra time when every second touch by a Rangers player was by Buffel. Yep. evens <_<
