Muff 245 Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 Groin injury picked up during the 1st half. Weir had to be replaced by Amdy Faye early in the second half after he picked up a groin injury. The veteran stopper is not sure how severe the problem is at this early stage but is clearly now a doubt for Thursday's UEFA Cup semi-final with Fiorentina in Italy. He said: " I felt it go midway through the first half and tried to play on but I couldn't in the end. "I'll obviously find out more about the injury in time.
