deviltrout 1 Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 i think smith modelled us on cuellars osasuna team from thier uefa cup run to the semis in season 06/07 for our european games, i think they left a big impression as you can see..... last years uefa cup for osasuna for two leg knockouts 1st round trabzonspor 2-2 away first leg, 0-0 at home, through on away goals. home clean sheet number 1 2nd round was the pishy group stage 3rd round boardeux 0-0 at away first, then 1-0 home win after extra time. home clean sheet number 2 4th round rangers 1-1 at ibrox, then 1-0 at home home clean sheet number 3 5th round leverkusen 3-0 away first leg, 1-0 at home home clean sheet number 4 6th round seville(winners) 1-0 home win followed by a 2-0 away loss home clean sheet number 5, and so close to the final at hampden as you can see it looks so similar to rangers tactics you imagine it must break a few copyright laws.
