Lower league Italian football

Recommended Posts

Guys,

I am going to Cattolica near Rimini in Italy at the end of May for a fortnight and was planning to take in the Rimini - Messina game on the 1st of June. Has anybody on the forum ever been to any lower league Italian games and if so can you tell me how I would go about getting tickets and how easy it is? Even if anybody has been to any Serie A games your input would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Serie B or Serie C games are very easy to get tickets, they hardly ever sell out.

Rimini has a ground that holds about 10.000.

As for Serie A games: Depends on wich club and what game.

For a game from a top club against a small club there will be no problem in finding tickets.

However, should you go see a small club that welcomes a big club, then it most likely will be sold out.

Tickets can always be bought at the ground, but some clubs like Lazio have shops in the city where you can get tickets.

Cheers Jelle.

I'm assuming then that I'll be able to pick one up for this match from the stadium a couple of days before the game without any hassle.
