TMWWBK 0
I was under the impression they were given new deals on the basis they were back up. Then Weir was made captain in Barry's absence. What the hell is going on? Weir was originally brought in to "shore up" the defence for 6 months and fair enough, he did just that. He had a decent season last year as well but to give him another deal this year is just madness. The Davie Weir from two years ago looks like Obafemi Martins (pace wise) compared to the Davie Weir of today. He isnt even that good in the air any more. The Dailly situation just infuriates me. Slowly but surely Smith wormed him into his plans, even dropping our one time player of the year for him. Welcome to Walter Smith's Rangers, aka Short Term Fix FC. well put in perspective, hemdani hasnt got that bad, smith has just came along and decided that hes a european specialist and nothing else...........now hes not even that Thats the thing, Hemdani has been dropped for him because Smith thinks that Dailly gives us "physical presence" which just goes to show how things are going. Im a big fan of Hemdani and ill be the first to admit that his performances werent up to scratch last season. However, i honestly think that an off form Hemdani offers far more than Dailly. to begin with i cant imagine hemdani givin away the stupid foul for the first and commiting such a basic lack of ball control to lead to the second........ Its Hemdani's positional play that is the main thing for me. The fact Dailly didnt close down Nakamura for his opener in the first game of the OF double header still grates with me. As ive said before, Dailly just does not know how to play the defensive mid role.
BillyBoyBlue 0
Never rated Daily Always a liability for Scotland and now for the Bears! If he was that good West Ham wouldnt have let him go for fcuk all! One of the worst players i have seen in the jersey! Would rather see Berti Konnterman in the middle than him! That says it all really.
Neeskens 0
I honestly don't know what the fuck is going on at Rangers any more. If he starts tomorrow you'd be as well presting the tims with the trophy on Sunday.

That's bizarre, isn't it! Having stood next to both Hemdani and Dailly, I'd much rather pick a fight with old Christian. Hemdani, while quite lean, is fucking massive. To be honest, im yet to see this "bite" that Dailly adds to the midfield. Poorly timed challenges and arguments with the ref is all ive seen..
