CooperSF 5,792
Burnley are hoping to sign Celtic defender Darren O'Dea, skysports.com understands. Clarets boss Owen Coyle has targeted the Republic of Ireland international to bolster his squad as he looks to mount a challenge for promotion. Burnley are thought to have enquired about taking the central defender on loan until the end of the season and are hoping to thrash out a deal with Celtic. O'Dea is well down the pecking order at Parkhead and Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan is believed to be prepared to farm him out so that he can get valuable first-team action elsewhere. Coyle is keen to push through a deal as quickly as possible as he wants O'Dea available for Wednesday's Carling Cup semi-final, second leg, with Tottenham. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11781_4817721,00.html
Guest Andypendek
Their defence must be pretty weak if he's going to make them stronger.

Owen wanna buy Charlie Adam by any chance since you're scouring the SPL for players? Can even through in Christian Dailly for good measure?

EastEnclosureBear 2,926
If they buy players like O'Dea they will be stuck in the Champoinship for many year to come.
