Jelle1880 225
I sat here watching 2 boxing games. One game was Alex Vastine (France) V Diaz (Dominicam Republic). Vastine was completely hammering Diaz, all through the fight. Then in the last round a Fillipine ref gives him 4 penalty points, with too little time to correct it. Then yesterday this happened between a European boxer and an Asian boxer: the European (Don't remember who or from what country) was landing punch after punch but the points weren't being added up. Detail: There were 3 Asian refs in the jury. These are not the only dubious results in the boxing competition at the Olympics. Russia, USA, Equador,... felt wrogly treated by an obvious biased judging-system.
Wullie! 8
There was also an incident in the womans Taekwondo today in the bout between Stevenson [gbr] and Zhuang (sp?) [chn]. The decision was reversed in favour of the GBR athlete

Jelle1880 225
But that happens all the time in sports like Tae-Kwondo, Karate, Judo,... if you disagree you tell the ref, the deliberate and then take a decision.

Both similar scoring systems (with regards to judges pressing controls to score)
