disgruntled_bear 157
Well we'll see, but the majority don't seem worried about the Division 3 senario, and if Green has provided the relevant info to the SFA already i'm sure Clyde can get it somehow. I've heard some fans starting Spartans campaigns, where did you see other clubs supporting them?I know Spartans have been waiting for a long time to get into the SFL and are ready but such decisions are meant to be based on infrastructure, and we blow any other applicants out of the water there. Most resent comments by Spartans, if we get rejected..http://www.<No links to this website>/football/sfl/2012/07/10/spartans-are-ready-to-fill-sfl-void-insists-edinburgh-club-s-director-of-football-86908-23906729/#.T_wzw8h8voo.twitterSame paper claims "Spartans have been encouraged to bid by several SFL clubs." http://m.<No links to this website>/ms/p/tmg/scotdr/view.m?id=4671969&tid=638956&cat=ScottishFootballLeaguePlus lets not forget who's chairman was part of the SFA panel. Spartans chairman Craig Graham. Obviously we'll find out tomorrow, if the SFL accept our application first before a decision on a league. But something seems dodgy with Spartans waiting in the wings. Lets hope for all our sakes the SFL aren't vindictive towards us for leaving in the first place to help form the SPL, and out to prove a point towards the SFA and SPL that they wont be bullied.Us just been accepted into the SFL isn't cut and dry. Were in the crossfire with a big target on our back.
simplythebest 11,453
At the end of the day, as much as they may hate us; in football money talks. We have a bigger pull than Spartans. From what I know SFL entry votes are meant to be decided on who you feel to have the best infrastructure, ability to survive in the football league etc. With all due respect to Spartans, Cove Rangers and whoever else that has worked hard to improve their facilities, our stadium and training ground are in a different league. Facilities is only one part of procedures. SFA membership and 3 years worth of accounts is another. At the moment our club only has 1 out of 3 of these checks. Spartans on the other hand tick more boxes than us at the moment. We should be wary big time, if this goes down to a dog fight.

lastminuteedu 2
If we're admitted to division 3, boycott Clyde. Simple as that.I'm confused. I want us to go to division 3. Why boycott wee clubs who are standing up to slimy weaselfucks like doncaster and regan?

If we got rejected tomorrow. Spartans would apply and win.Massive day for us tomorrow. Just don't think we should be taking a place in the SFL for granted. Cause they could reject us outright if they wanted to.
