Played the 2 Turnberry courses yesterday and today in Golf in Scotlands competition. Ailsa is in my mind the best Scottish course I’ve played. Truly exceptional Robert the Bruce is the wee course but is also some track.

Apart from being in Melbourne in 2010 that’s a test match I’d loved to have been at. Outstanding entertainment and adding in the convicts lost at home made for a super Sunday.

Either broke or dislocated a finger playing in Florida took 4 weeks off and played Troon on 29/12/23. Done the same again😂😂. Can still play but need to get to bottom of it. Don’t want to be doing that every time I’m golfing as it’s sore as fuck for a few days after it.

Some very good and one or two i had played before looked a bit in need of work. the Links course at grand Cypress and Shingle Creek were fantastic as was the Los Colinos course up in Howey in the hills.

I played 8 rounds in Orlando couple of weeks ago. Seems an eternity ago as I look at the weather here.

I was there last night. Personally I felt it took too long on the committee introducing themselves and possibly held back questions from the floor. hopefully the next one they can take some more questions. I was hoping to ask something about Sydney cup but as it’s still a live case decided it wasn’t worth queuing to be told they couldn’t answer. Good to see Eskbank last night also.
