  1. Unlucky mate. Tough going playing 2 ties in the one day. Especially finals.
  2. Another poor medal on Saturday and now upto 7.4 so teetering on the brink of playing off 8 for the first time in 4yrs. Anyway, got my midweek medal on Tuesday to sort that out, then playing The Roxburghe on Friday before my matchplay singles final on Saturday. Have played really well in the ties so far, so just hope it continues for 1 more round on finals day.
  3. This seriously needs looked at now. This emailing 1 day (if even that) before they take money from your account was bad enough when we were paying £16-£20 for lower league tickets, but now someone could potentially be paying out a couple of hundred quid at the drop of a hat. Not everyone just always has that lying about spare.
  4. I was saying the same as you on the way home from Ibrox last week, about us having too defensive a midfield, but when I thought about it again the following day I am now of the thinking that MW has been restricted in midfield choices so far and I believe the midfield we have been seeing will not be the one played most often. We have 4 attacking midfielders I would say. Of those 4, Windass and Holt have been injured. Kranjcar has not been upto full fitness yet, and Forrester has had to fill in for the injury to Waggy. I would hope when we have all our choices available to us, then we will see more of the slick passing game we all loved so much last season. Defence is a shambles though to get back on topic.
  5. Monday aswell mine arrived. Moffat Stand. Think you better get on the blower dean.
  6. I know that feeling mate. I definitely hit more greens in regulation at away courses than at Larky. Problem then is I am usually left with double the length of putts I am used to.
  7. Was never a fan of DW myself. But I can understand your thinking on that one mate.
  8. It's Larkhall mate... We only have about 4 as members. Anyway, he is a Well fan, so me pipping him late on was a familiar feeling for him.
  9. YAAASSSSSS!!! Won 2 up in my semi final earlier. Played my best round of the past couple of months in what was a great tie. Had never been past the quarters of this tourney before, so roll on finals day now on the 3rd Sept. Bonus that it is International weekend, so no conflict of interests with The Gers.
  10. I kid you not folks, he was updating it with blow by blow accounts of how the game was going. He takes so much pride in that page that you really do have to just stand back and applaud that man.
  11. I think there were only 400 child/concession priced tickets if I remember correctly. This may be where the confusion between you both has stemmed from mate.
  12. Not a great weekend... Poor in my medal on Saturday and then worse at Strathaven open on Sunday. Got my semi final today, so this is where my form picks up.
  13. @lutonblue your services are required here.
  14. I know we have over 7k on the scheme this season, but we also will know how many tickets we are getting from each team. therefore, a ballot could have been done for the whole season (post split) as it was for years without a hitch. And where on earth are you getting that we only have 400 from? We are getting the Moffat and Chadwick stands as normal.
  15. I could be a pedantic bastard and say no it isn't, there are loads of them. But I know you were referring to the Premiership only. So my actual question is... Have Accies gone back to grass again for this season? As I am pretty sure they still had their artificial surface last season.
  16. I know we moved away from the way it was for years (list of all succesful games at start of the season) when we went to the lower leagues because those clubs didn't know as far in advance what allocation they could give us due to safety reasons, as they are normally empty. So it made sense then that the first half of the season was game by game, then once we knew full allocations of each ground we sent out an email with what games you had for the 2nd half of the season. But now we are back in the top flight, I see no reason why it cannot go back to the way it always was. It let you plan ahead for what games you needed to source tickets for in advance. Now it's email one day, money out the next and ticket posted the next. No forward planning in effect whatsoever.
  17. Being a fat bastard, I could sell mine as 2 limited edition tops.
  18. Nothing worse than that mate. get to the turn buzzing and then walk off 18 never wanting to pick up a club again.
  19. I will give @Rfc52 a councelling session on Saturday to try and eradicate the demons from his head. hopefully after this, he will spend some time bringing his much loved FB page back upto scratch again. We all just need to be patient as he works through these troubled times.
  20. Is that still around? Used to use the yellow book years ago. Pretty much the same thing then mate.
  21. Use Golf Empire mate. Excellent site for planning opens. Plus with some of them (not Strathaven unfortunately) you can book them online. Stirling and Pumpherston were like this. Chose my time, paid with my card and was sorted.
  22. And I would happily help organise it.
