nvager 498
With Shittu out, can Webster grab a place in the team? If fit he must have a chance - no?

docspiderman 1,228
Webster; slow, cannot pass and gives away lots of fouls in dangerous areas. Dailly; cannot pass and gives away free kicks in dangerous areas. McCulloch; slow, cannot pass and gives away free kicks in dangerous areas. Adam, slow, finds it difficult to decide when to make the right pass and gives away free kicks in dangerous areas. Broadfoot, no balance, cannot pass to save his life and gives away free kicks in dangerous areas. There is a pattern here and I have named half a team which are likely to play in the season ahead. Cumbria_blue 51
With Shittu out, can Webster grab a place in the team? If fit he must have a chance - no? If Webster could get himself fit on a regular basis we may not need another centre back.
Polo 1,433
IF HE WAS A HORSE HED HAVE BEEN SHOT BY NOW. Maybe so, but Webster can definitely do a job IF he gets fit and STAYS fit. Can see him forming a strong partnership with the King if he does

That we should not buy players who can be hacked so badly it virtually kills their career?

That we should not buy players who can be hacked so badly it virtually kills their career? If I remember correctly Kuznetzov caught his studs in the turf and his knee went. He looked fantastic in a couple of games before that. He NEVER recovered after that.
