The truth of the matter is that we all get a bit excited at times and behave like different people at games compared to elsewhere. It’s a good thing that, as fans, we’re trying to self-regulate-those who take offence to this should remember that it is being done for the good name of our football club. Some of the stuff being belted out belongs in the past, it’s an embarrassment to us and to Scottish football as a whole. Some fans moan about lack of clarity, but we all know that we shouldn’t be singing about the Pope, fenian, fenian blood and so on. So we know what we need to do. The authorities need to come down hard on other clubs to, but it’s important that we set our own standards, rather than comparing ourselves with them, just as we have always done with great success throughput our proud history. We are Rangers and we will continue to be Rangers long after this or any other board has gone. Let’s pull together and roar our team to 55.

Not only are we the most successful club in the world, our travelling support is simply the best, a fact acknowledged by some great clubs outside this cesspit. I will never forget that journey to Manchester as part of a world-record travelling support!👍

Rangers is a magnificent football club, with a quite incredible support, stuck in a crap league with poor income flows. This is the frustration for me. There is only so much we can do on this basis. I will never forget the superb football in the Advocaat years, where we were not far off winning the Champions’ League......look how unlucky we were in both games against Bayern! The vast money on offer in the EPL means that our league is regarded as a pub league, approaching the standard of Welsh and Irish leagues. So our joy will only come from gibbing them, getting 55 and going a few rounds in Europe. The good news is that, after the hellish years, we’re now beginning to look more like Rangers. The shambles behind the scenes with Ashley is a disaster for us, a complete embarrassment that will make us a laughing stock and cost millions that we can’t afford.

This country has become a bitter, rancid place. I’d love it if Rangers could play in England, where they have a massive following. Depressing, eh?
