I was at Gerrards unveiling and was pitch side with my daughter and tried to get as close to the pitch as I could to take a picture with her. But I didn't dare step over the line on to the actual pitch. Its almost like sacred ground. I pictured stepping across the line and the spirit of Jock Wallace appearing and booting me in the arse and telling me to get the fuck off the grass 😅

Gazza seems like he's always struggled with the fact that his career was coming to an end and then over. He said many times Rangers was one of the best times of his career. Our Club holds a special place in his heart, like he holds in the hearts of all Bears from his era. He probably wished many a time that he could play again and score for us again. Im glad we managed to give him that in a way. It was bittersweet but it was a great gesture that made me proud and proud that he played for Rangers and we got to give something back to him. I know he was only at Ibrox for a couple years but to almost every bear I know he is undoubtedly a Rangers Legend.
