  1. Great little player. Sad the club will probably not secure his services. Gonna miss Malik.
  2. Morelos has made his dime. He has served Rangers to differing degrees but overall, quite admirably. I hope he makes a lucrative move, is smart with his money and returns home to Colombia the richest man in the province. Hopefully his kid's kids won't have to know poverty. Buenos suerte el Buffalo.
  3. Ahhhh. Just figured out the ignore option on this site. No more super creepy leather guy.
  4. Bird in the hand I guess. Even if the wings are snapped half the time.
  5. That statement makes no sense.
  6. Totally agree dude. We spend time, effort and precious funds to produce viable contributors and then piss them (figuratively) away.
  7. We need Malik Tillman. Aribo was just ok.
  8. Lowry needs to grow some ass. He is still built like a boy. You are correct, give him time to fill in his frame, get him out on loan.
  9. Too old. Too many injuries. Probably expects a higher than warrantable salary. Even if halved his salary would probably be in excess of 10K/wk.
  10. Norwich fanbase tend to agree with you. 'Serial underperformer' and 'poor man's Cantwell' were a couple things I read on their forum. Plus he has the injury bug.
  11. Hell naw P. But I gots to be finin some commin ground, naw mean? So its dat good shit. Dat queen's english. Fools be trippin out if I spit in that G low ya herd? Of course, that's how I speak you twit.
  12. I think club management are entirely pragmatic and would not poo-poo the idea of homegrown talent (celtic withstanding). However, I also think that Rangers see these players four, five times (cups) per year? That proximity, and recency creates a more keen, and critical eye to examine a player. Therefore, they are more cautious, and yes reticent to purchase.
  13. What was the 'horrific injury'? I know it's the knee Complete tear? Multiple ligaments? It must have been a complete tear whatever it was. Perspective--this in my mind qualifies as 'horrific'. Warning--it's rough 2002 Fiesta Bowl--Positive--McGahee still drafted R1--played 10 years in the league after this.
  14. This team needs a witch doctor not a physical therapist.
  15. Well yeah...did you think he just gave up the gig at Sky and plant a garden? Of course, he is coming back. Finally, a guy who is not corporate or smiling gladhand. Hell yeah.
  16. They do, and though it may not be the driving purpose, it is an externality.
  17. I am discussing the effects of sporting money on the community. Not much no, but they will be putting more money into the family coffers than not? Correct. With the hope of much more to come. Sports, especially ones compensated for, are big drivers in a community.
  18. Yes...I'm boiling at the poor quote. Just enraged. Debating any points or just sitting on the sidelines throwin stones?
  19. The point of the system is to produce first team, first quality talent. When Rangers spend many many many thousands of dollars training, kitting, feeding, transporting, and paying a player for years. When Rangers assist that young talent in being a young adult talent who blips on the soccer radar...heads turn. Brexit, has exacerbated that. That is when Man U--Chelsea et al. sweep in for the easy pickins. Rangers are often left underpaid, or just holding his sweaty jock. As they have..as they will.
  20. Look I come from a country whose sports subsidize a pretty big portion of the community. I understand what teams are capable of, and what they represent. This is not a dig at communities, or teams...just the facts. When a kid signs a contract, it pays the bills in A LOT of households. Thems just the facts.
