Not too sure if i disliked any players as i always supported them when they came to the club. Some that i was disapointed in included: Basile Boli - Came with a big reputation from Marseille and never really lived up to his name Oleg Salenko - World Cup top scorer came to us and done hee haw Stephane Guivarc'h - Again came with a rep but failed to live up to it Marco Negri - What a prick that was? He had all the talent in the world but never cracked a bloody smile! An amazing first season that few will ever surpass but never recaptures form due to several excuses! I could name more but these are just a few off the top of my head!

Spot on mate. No matter what he does there will always be a select few who want him out regardless. If you cant get pumped up for an Old Firm game without the manager reinforcing it then why you playing? Its the same scenario with Barry. Before i looked at the player ratings i knew he would be bottom. Not because he was the worst player but certain fans automatically give low marks as they have a vendetta against him. No win situation for Watty or Barry!

Totally agree on Velicka we were like a man down with him on the park! I know he was isolated but Lafferty played the role so much better and at least the ball stuck with him. Exactly. There was one moment i remember when Whittiker had the ball out wide ready to put a cross in and it was wee Aaron and Beasely in the middle with Velicka hiding out on the left wing. Why oh why did we waste £1m on him? Velicka done well for me considering he has been out in the cold for so long. Not an ideal position up top on his own as he isnt a mobile player like Miller but one thing he did do better than Lafferty was holding the ball up. He can take it in without panicking. I think he should get more of a run, at leat a place in the squad. I admit that he does look a bit lost up on his own though. Overall though, my stand out was Mendes. He wouldnt look out of place in that Milan team if it was solely down to passing abilty. His one touch football was simply brilliant at times.

Im going to the game tonight and i know tickets are still available but has there been any word on how many have been sold? Just hoping its a good atmosphere and not half empty!

Well dont all Managers and Teams have to have luck on way to European glory. Walter done a great job and played to our strengths with the resources we had.

At the very best we will possibly see two mediocre loan signings. Ie the equivelant to a Dailly! Not getting a game for a lowly placed EPL club and comes up here to sit on the bench

IMO Kirk was one of our better players last night. I believe he is a stopgate but Walter wont bring anyone else in. So while we have him as our number 1 right back fill him with confidence. We all know he isnt tchnically a "hutton" but last night he was a minority of the lacklustre Rangers team who didnt go posted missing. He never shirked a tackle, was always wanting the ball and even when everyone was fcuked in the last ten minutes, he was still bombing down that right hand side supporting Davis. Im not saying Kirk is necessarily the answer but come on, give credit when credits due. There are far more serious issues in that team that need addressing!

I understand the view of not bringing back players to the club but IMO Lovenkrands is one who should never being sold on in the first place!

Barry! I feel the critism of Fergie has been harsh if im being honest. Pedro has done well and thats great for Rangers but he has only played a matter of months. I feel they will strike up a fantastic partnership but it will be nice to see what the "critics" will be saying when Mendes has a couple of bad games. Think a few Rangers fans are blinkered in my opinion thats all. Just because Barry has been out for a couple months doesnt mean he is finished!!
