  5. Yeh, that was the subject of a call in the radio clyde phone in tonight, these early kick offs, double edged sword, if ye want the tv sponsorship money, then got to be prepared for them fucking about with the kick off times. I hate em aswell, id rather 3pm Saturday! Good pics tho Flippin Eck. You just take them , or you got some more?
  6. i think there is a chance!!!!!!! lol seriously, i wonder what sort of pricetag is on Ronaldos head at the moment? Scary thought really!
  7. absolute peach of a strike. In his interview after the match he said that the objective when striking them is to get it uop and over the wall, then sometimes they go in, sometimes they dont. He obviously practices them a fair bit on the training ground and got his technique sorted Ive also heard that he also places the ball so that when he strikes it, he is hitting the valve and covering it with his boot, this results in the air in the ball/ air passage moving around causing the swerve. Not sure how much if that is true, but could be physics doing their job??? all in all a great goal, watched it over several times on that link, and now on MOTD!
  8. ..... or instead of signing a new player could give guys like Buffel a chance ?
  9. to post mate, i agree with you, and some of your patter is magic !
  10. lol, maybe taken so long to go through as Bain is trying to negotiate a lower transfer fee?
  11. celtic just look like a poor side, falkirk have a good chance of getting a result
  12. no news seems to be coming out to confirm it, nothing on any websites even the fulham one so far
  13. listened to the Mark McGhee interview on the bbc website, sounds like he heard from Sky Sports news it was George Burley before the SFA told him, he was very gracious, wishing Burley well, but came out with a belter of a line at the end .... "Its a difficult job for Burley with high expectations and i still have time. If George Burley doesnt win the world cup, then it leaves it open for me to the man that does." Quality! Im glad Mark McGhee didnt get it, i like him and would like to see how he finishes the season with Motherwell now....
  14. giving rangers ticket office my card details would be the last thing i would do! They are prone to fucking it up!
  15. the ticket office are a disgrace.......i remember phoning up for champions league 3match package , waited about 30 mins on the line, got through to a lass that seemed to sound nice, but she cut me off midway through. I was well pissed off. Phoned back later and got through to the same girl i was like "u cut me off earlier" and she denied it. Stupid bint. Constant errors , and match ticket fuck-ups dont surprise me with Rangers. I know Gid also had a terrible experience on one of the champions leage nights, his smart card wasnt activated, even though he had paid weeks before. He missed the first 45 minutes waiting at the ticket office.
  16. yep, seems he played his best football at rangers, has been pretty shit since he left glasgow..... id take him back at a cut price, it would be a nice bit of business aswell, and hopefully he would discover the form he had in his 1st spell and could go on to be an ibrox great........
  17. 2-2 full time, still think its bye bye Benitez, Liverpool stay out of top 4, that place taken by rivals Everton, albeit the Reds have a game in hand..... I would like Everton to finish in 4th
  18. yep , agree with you, i already thought Benitez days were numbered , but i expect to see him offski in the next week. Sure , he won the champions league, but he hasnt given any serious premiership challenge in his time there, and he has spent probs as much cash as the other big teams. Good result for Villa tho, ..... if the result stays 2-1 that is
  19. Didnt know that. I think Weir could be good for another season after this one anyways, or at least he will make for decent cover when we get a replacement CB
  20. Ive always said about Boyd..... he is great at the end of the move, but not at the start or the middle. Now Burke is back we have a player who can start a move, or maintain a move but aint the best finisher. Put Boyd and Burke topgether and its a winning combination!!!!!! Weir is showing signs of age but he makes up for it in reading the game superbly well. I wish Rangers had signed him 10-15 years ago cos he is solid
  21. Correct. In the first 20 mins of the second half, he could have single handedly cost us 3 or 4 goals today. He is nowhere near a player for the price we paid. Correct Throw in Naismith, Darcheville, and Beasley to the equation and there will be even more goals from Boydie!!!. 2 up front with Boyd and 1 other... even if Naisy plays left or right mid...... Up until recently i have not been a fan of Thomson. However your right again, TODAY he did get stuck in and made some important tackles. I feel he could do more though, and too often is guilty of standing about. I think the guy is lacking of match practice. And, if he is guilty of a poor first touch, he more than makes up for it for his running off the ball and chasing things down unlike some others. Correct. In the first half some of his cross field passes 40 and 50 yards were sublime. Then he goes and cancels it out in the 2nd half with an abysmal "pass" type thing into nowhere during a break on the left, followed by a free kick which was straight at the keeper with little power. He is seriously off the boil at the moment. However, the last time he was dropped, the team fell apart. (Cant mind the game but Amdy Faye played from the off, Fergie was brought on at half time and almost salvaged something but it was just too late) ..... I dont know what he is needing to get back to his full potential. But you are correct, he had done jack shit for several weeks now, and was totally MIA today. Correct, Burkey was superb today, and maybe his spell out the team, and the current competition for places is exactly what he needs. More of the flashes of brilliance you showed today please Mr Burke!
  22. nice pics mate, i like the panoramic view. And, with a little MSpaint mod it would make a nic site banner or siggy: (someone with better photochop skills (rather than my MSpaint job) could make it into a sweet forum banner or something but from this u should get the idea!!!) look forward to more of yer pics , i love pics of the ibrox crowd on matchday.
