Ok so i just picked up a PS2. Ive never owned one before. Why did i buy a PS2 and not a PS3 ? Well, i mainly want to play pro evo. I was a nintendo fanboy tbh, and got a wii and DS but no machine for playing proper pro evo and im missing out! Money is really tight at the moment (got new baby and a job that pays crap lol ) so i dunno if i could justify the cost of a PS3 or even an xbox360. Plus i know there is loads and loads of classic games on the PS2 which i can now pick up at a cheap price pre owned! I know the ps2 can do what i want it do for a fraction of the cost! I really wanted the GTA games aswell cos i used to play these at a mates, and loved them. I got GT3, Vice City, & Liberty City Stories for £15 from gamestation.My mate from work has lent me San Andreas aswell since hes done with it. Since im kinda a newbie at PES (played it at mates but not had own copy since the ISS n64 days) i picked up PES6 and am learning from there. That cost me £5. Im quite crap at it at the mo, but its a good challenge from the beginning again! !! ! BTW, the ps2 cosst me £61 from currys, its a slimline one with "buzz - the hollywood quiz" which i thought was a good deal. cheapest i could find new. (strangely it was the same price with or without the buzz game??? that didnt make sense to me! "Might aswel take it" i thought! Anyways, there must be loads and loads of great PS2 games that i have missed cos i never had a PS2. I am looking for recommendations for your all time greatest PS2 games. Even the totally obvious ones like "surely everyone knows about this game" lol - i dont cos i never had a ps2. My mate says the Fight night games are good - but which is the best one to get? Also metal gear solid or something? So - recommend your all time fave ps2 games and tell me a bit about them!!!

nto a fan of vista. The constant "are you sure u want to do this" reminders for almost everything you do, and the fact some of the simple things have been messed around with. Editing pictures is nowhere near as easy as it was on XP. couldnt stand it and had to go back to XP after about 2 weeks of fighting with it .

i am not a fan of Ronnie O Sullivan really, but i have to say i find that clip very funny indeed! lol He is obviously totally bored and fed up with the pres sconference and decides to take the piss a little. I get the feeling that if he gets fined or banned, he will just stick his 2 fingers up at the Snooker governing bodies and say "cheerio" .... cos theyneed Ronnie O Sullivan more than he needs them. Hes made his money, is set for life, but is still one of the best (if not the best) to watch playing snooker.

a very good idea for a scottish football newspaper, I was in a waiting room the other week and picked up a copy of "FourFourTwo", magazine. It was an old copy, from over a year ago, but i still enjoyed reading through some of the articles. Although it was mostly about current football that month, there was a lot of articles that really could have been published at any time of year, ie articles about people no longer in the game, classic goals, footballers personal life interviews, tactics, funnies, quizzes,... all sorts. It was mainly focused on the English Premier League, but after reading this post it got me thinking if there would be a market for a Scottish Equivalent. Even if it was mainly scottish but also included stats/ figures from world football? The only other thing i could think off like what you have mentioned is the free weekly pull outs that most papers do on a monday now - "supergoals" and the 10+ page middle sections on football only. Maybe this is the newspapers compromise?

woooooooft i dunno..... i think.... under different circumstances , sebo could have been better. Id bring him back when his loan deal is done. Give him a DECENT run out in the team (not some off the bench run outs after 82min) and see what he can do.......... if hes not cutting the mustard after 10 or so games......let him go. I dont think Cousin realises how big Rangers FC is. He needs a reality check and his baws booted. If he stays with Rangers for the full 3 years he will end up with at least 9 more winners medals than he will have with any lower division EPL team.

people are going on as if the stand being empty early is a new thing. its been going on for ages, its not just suddenly started. People always have and always will choose to leave early for whatever reasons. if they pay their bucks, its up to them if they only see a small percentage of the value of it.Stupid sometimes. yeh definetely....... paying for a ticket, leaving 20 minutes before full time and missing several goals at times... yeh.. its daft. But, nothing will change it. Its a fact of life with the footie. You can choose to stay for 90 mins or not if u are there, its your choice cos uv paid for it From my experience, leaving a couple mins before the end (once) and leaving after the whistle doesnt save u any time. However, the subway does like to shut up shop early doors on a sunday which we also found out one week (after we stayed to the end and went for a few beers after in park bar) when we tried to get the return journey from cessnock about 6pm back to central and were turned away. people have all sorts of reasons for boosting early. A lot of supporters buses traveling from distance insist on people being on board by a certain time and will leave without them. People might have certain trains to catch, or even in some cases, ferries???? I agree, its not nice to see an empty stand...but its a simple fact of football. Some folks will choose to boost early.

the only update on the Arsenal site regarding Eduardo at the moment is that he has "undergone surgery". I guess they wont know for a few days the real extent of the damage to the lad.

im doing alright so far. Decided to do it a little differently and put 2 x bets on , so if one lost, the other would win.Same principal, just have 2 x chances. Had Motherwell and Man Utd to win last nite as my first bets. Motherwell won and Man Utd Lost so i was evens. Tonight i went with PSV and Werder Bremen, Both won, and although not "evens", (just under) i am up to £6.88 from £3. Im thinking Saturday = Aston Villa and Chelsea both to win?

cheers for the input mate, after i seen this post i went off and checked ign.com andthey gave it and 8.5 "impressive" score. they said its the best FPS on the Wii so far. Thinking about buying this now, gonna trade in a couple of games for it
