Just had a near-death experience and it was scary-as. Dunno if you've read my thread about my car troubles? Anyways, I jacked up the car and was underneath it re-attaching the exhaust. Now I'm no mechanic, so after several minutes of fumbling with the exhaust I managed to hook it on. It's not secure though and I need to tie it up with rope so I can take it to the garage for them to reseal it on properly. Damn ... forget to bring the rope under the car with me. So I crawl out from under the car and stand up, just at that a huge gust of wind blows the car off the jack onto the ground where my fragile little head was just seconds earlier! I just stood mouth open for a few minutes unable to move then started laughing! Bloody hell I could be dead. Mmmm .... maybe I'm here for a purpose after all. I must drink beer right now!

One thing that really annoys me about it is that up to xmas eve everything is so expensive then on Boxing Day you can buy the same things you bought as presents for less than half the price. Can understand why they do it but it is annoying.

I got a new exhaust on my car about a eight weeks ago ... the full system. However the other week it started making the same "your exhaust has blown" noise so I got out to find the middle section of the exhaust was actually touching the ground. Now, I've been advised that I can tie it up with an old belt to get it back to the garage who will fix it for free - or at least they'd better coz it's still under warranty. Problem is, I don't have a belt and don't have a clue. Is there anything else I can safely use to tie it up and how's the best way to go about it. I'm going today so suggestions have to be quick folks - I'm lost without my wheels!

It's simple; he lost his goalscoring touch the last 2 seasons and with it confidence and eventually his place. But one game changed it, and that was the Livorno match. His goal just set him on the right path and you could see what it meant to him as he ran like a bassa towards PLG - the manager had shown faith and he was getting to repay him. I'm sure Hateley has helped too, but simply PLG's faith in him has worked wonders. He's playing sensationally at the moment and I am so glad to be well off the mark about him being finished. I blame Eck to an extent for Novo's loss of confidence. Playing as a right midfielder destroyed him.
