I quite agree with the ratings, yes good result, eventually, but I think it was pretty much a poor performance all round. We'v had bad officials before & never let it bother us, whereas last night, I didn't see a performance where I could say we desrved to win.
I may be about to kick off a good auld debate, but I do not like :2g: Cousin and I felt at least 50% of the team played like him last night. OK I'll agree, he gets us some goals, especially when we need them, but so could the others on the bench if they had the chance!
I think Cousin is lazy and does not give a fuck about the jersey he's playing in. Players who come to Rangers, leave with us in their hearts (99% of the time), but Cousin from the start, I thought has never wanted to be there! I think he thinks he's too good for a wee Scottish side, like us - (that's only my idea of his impression)!
So from Day 1, I didn't like Cousin and unless he goes out into a game and actually bleeds for us (like Gough, etc), I don't think I ever will like him. And believe you me, I do not want to say that about one of my own team players!
Burke made a few lovely runs & only in one of those runs did I see Cousin as far up as him and when Burke took the shot, Cousin pointed to his feet, as if Burke should have glued the fucking ball to them. There were 2 players around Cousin at the time and Burke only had the goalie to beat, so as natural, you take the shot.
Cousin makes no space for himself and being a striker, who I thought plays up front just wants to hang around like you do when your eating your bag o chips ootside the chippy! The only ball I seen him recieve or pass well was when he scored the goal, he lost every other ball. Cousin - the lone striker up front, but when the ball was brought forward, you had: Fergie, Burke, Naismith, Papc, and Adam were all runnig ahead of him - my opinion - GET HIM TO FUCK!
I would give him away and wouldn't care about the money we lost! :beer2:
