It's the inconsistency that worries me. First set world beater, 2nd and 3rd sets he was atrocious Yeah, think Valencia is a certainty now. Would be a massive error to pick Basel

Murray through to 3rd round of Shanghai Masters to play Ferrer Dimitrov loses in 2nd round and now struggling to make line up for London Wawrinka loses again, must be close to one of the worst Slam winners in history now. Right up there with Thomas Johansson

This has been a terrible year for slams. Wawrinka handed Oz due to injuries and Cilic possibly being the worst winner in a long time Murray made him look mediocre today. Was a joy to watch!

Wins title but only after saving 5 MP's in the 2nd set tiebreak. What a relief that must be for him and now he's right back in the race for London

Was pretty tight right up until last checkpoint and the Wiggins stretched away. He looked okay but maybe was feeling a bit in his legs after a very long season! Men's road race should be a cracker

I wish Quintana, Contador and Froome were all there and fighting fit at the TdF. Nibali would have been smashed to pieces Going back to today, I think that Contador and Froome are the 2 strongest jn the field. Watching today's stage the commentators were saying they hadn't seen them fight since stage 2 of the Dauphine. Bloody gutted that the final stage is only a 10k TT. Longer flatter one would have made it much more interesting

Rafa is out of the US Open, great shame that! Hands the No.8 seed to Murray though! Not that it would have made that much of a difference as he still wouldn't have faced 1-4 until the quarters anyway
