  1. Haha, commentator about McShagger: "Catching cherries that one." Classic.
  2. Craig Moore taking the chance to boost our support. Absolute beauty!
  3. I envy you. I am still dreaming of the day that a shitty Stockholm club goes to the Champions League and end up in the same group as Rangers. That day I will start working on how Sweden Loyal will welcome our fellow bears to our city (I'm working at the stadium where the game would be played). Sadly, the city's representative will most likely be eliminated in qualification round 3 against Rosenborg. Swedish football isn't better than that. So I'll just keep dreaming. Bah, screw it. Rangers should be experienced on Ibrox, not on Råsunda, anyway.
  4. IMO, what speaks mostly for us is that the players we have know each other and can play as a team. Celtic seems to be buying themselves half a life-up, and those won't know each other at all. They will also be thrown in with other players who were here last year and obviously couldn't play as a team back then either. Lennon will have to work hard to make a team out of his hired guns.
  5. Sounds like some Celtic initiation ceremony Naw, was the tradition in our school, those who finished their last year got those who started school into the fountain, with a lot of soap. Was part of growing up in that area.
  6. Ahahaha. The Piggery actually has commercial signs with ads for potatoes. That's the funniest thing I've seen in a long while.
  7. I personally helped bathing Bojan Djordjic in the fountain on the local square when I graduated 9th grade and him 7th. Tradition. But it didn't mean he liked it much, but in he went.
  8. I wouldn't mind Chelsea, Linfield or Hamburg winning. But for me it's Rangers. Everyone goes out the window, there can only be one.
  9. Take it from a Swede - our former National team manager built his entire attack on Zlatan, who never really scored and sometimes just didn't feel like playing or the national team. Zlatan is one of the world's top players when he's on form. But he's an artist, not a team worker. And the result of building attack on Zlatan? Sweden is out the World Cup (the first major championship Lagerback missed since taking the job) and Lagerback went out of a job. (He got a second chance though, now coaching Nigeria.)
  10. I am not all happy about this first half. With so many changes, I would've hoped that some of them wanted to prove they deserve a chance. Alas, they've all proved why they're not regulars. Maybe with the exception of Naismith who shows ambition, but can't deliver the promises. It's the regulars that are playing. I don't mind, say, Edu. But right now he's definately not a player I want on the pitch at an important game.
  11. behave macavennie Actually, that was the original concept. But we got contacted by some blokes in Gothenburg who claimed to have an RSC, with flag and all, and they wanted to keep their name "Gothenburg Loyal" since they claimed to have made a name with some Linfield people. So we decided to name it East Sweden not to make unjusted claims to speak for all fans in Sweden. However, I haven't heard a sound from our friends in the Second town in about three years now, so we might rename if we manage to get some activity back.
  12. Name: East Sweden RSC Location: Based in Stockholm but serving the entire country. Members: About 20 registered. Website: Currently down. Status: Inactive, awaiting member initiatives. Contact: ESLoyal@gmail.com Due to few and rather inactive members, the RSC is currently not active. If you're a Swedish bear, or a bear living in Sweden and wants to start stuff up, the leadership is very interested. Contact us at esloyal@gmail.com, or me (Mathias Hellsten), leader of the RSC at mathias.hellsten@gmail.com for information, requests, etc East Sweden RSC - We are the People, operating in Henrik Larsson-land.
  13. Maybe such money should be donated to Rangers. That would be excellent.
  14. Hehe...oh the irony. It's like in Shawshank Redemption where everyone is in line to get help with their tax papers. On Park Head they would be in line with their gyro applications. The irony is that it is 'Giro'. Seems to be the modern Sod's Law that it's impossible to comment on others spelling/grammer without cocking up. My excuse is I'm not a native English speaker. Which is nullified by me educating myself as an English teacher. Anyway, the joke's on me.

  16. You could help them fill in their gyro applications, spelling could be tricky, I hear.
  17. I do steward stuff at all the major stadiums in Stockholm, i.e. AIK, DIF and HIF stadiums. I don't care much for the teams, though I have a soft spot for HIF despite them being the wrong colours. To me it's just a job. Obviously they are too drunk and too stupid so they need to be pointed to the toilet, et cetera. Doesn't mean I care at all about the teams they watch. However I could never work at Ibrox. That is because I couldn't do my job correctly there. Standing orders are that I do my job instead of watching the game, and not singing/clapping etc or cheering loudly at goals and so on. I couldn't follow those rules if Rangers were playing. Thus, I wouldn't work there.
  18. It's just a fact of life at the interwebs nowadays. Go on RM
  19. I envy you guys all the moments you've had at Ibrox down the years. But you can envy me for still having to experience my first time.
  20. Bougherra is welcome back when he's shown improvement. I am certain this will also happen in this case.
  21. To management and players - save yourselves, win us the treble. I'm Rangers till I die.
  22. Thanks for this year of Europe. I'm not satisfied. But I'm Rangers 'till I die. Now we go on for the domestic treble.
  23. In our Swedish RFC, we have people from all the four major clubs and quite a few others. I know the Gothenburg casuals made a flag with Rangers, Chelsea and their club (Gothenburg), setting up an unofficial group. People from other teams thought it was funny as hell. Though no speshul relashuns in Sweden - this is Celtic land for the general public, because the only thing they know is that Larsson is a legend in Celtic. Of course, there are those that hate Celtic because they hate Larsson, mostly local rivals of his current team. Swedish Rangers supporters remain a select few but we are loyal. We are the people!
