As I posted in the BR, a warm congratulations to both our Chairman Mr King and Steven for their brevity on the podium today. Very professional.

As piss poor as he turned out in the end, the circumstances in which he took over, were pretty extenuating and took it's toll on him personally. Good to see Dave rise above the noise and give recognition when it was due, when you have cowards like McInnes whom many supported in here, givng us the two fingers and sucking up to those sheep shagging bastards.

It showed Rangers class in my opinion. What King said has nothing to do with Murty not being up to the job. 
It thanks him for stepping up twice when others wouldn't. Anyone could see he was looking pretty ill towards the end of the second stint. Performance aside he answered the call. It must have been hard not to leave afterwards but for all his faults he's clearly a respected youth coach and deserves to get on quietly with his job there provided he continues to do it well. 

Some of the comments are a bit harsh on Murty imo.  He has come under a lot of criticism on here for consistently going for Bates and Martin at CB rather than Alves and Cardoso and I think today’s match indicates that he was correct in his judgement.  His hand was forced to play a CB pairing he didn’t buy and clearly doesn’t rate so I think bit harsh to criticise him on theie poor performance today.
It was a risk playing the two young midfielders today but let’s face it he didn’t have much choice, other than going for Holt and I don’t think he would have made much difference either way.  Must admit he does have a bit of a fixation for Windass that I don’t think is fully justified but, to be fair, he has been knocking in a few goals lately.
i don’t get the criticism over his substitutions, sometimes a manager has to place some trust on the players he has originally picked to do the job.  We dominated their ten men but had no cutting edge, our final ball was shocking as it quite often is.  Having Cummings on a few minutes earlier would not have solved that issue, nor would any of the alternatives on the bench.
 

I reckon aidrian will fly a flag with this as he pays attention to MW and frequently talks about unecessary violence at football etc. 
hes defended us a few times.
