Maybe I'm just worried that we need a replacment for cousin. Celtic have gone about it the right way, get him on loan and if he is useless punt him back. He is wanting back in the greece squad for euro 2008 so might rediscover his form just in time...

It was announced this morning that Giorgas Samaras has signed on loan to celtic. I was quite excited when we were linked with him the other day, do you think we missed out on a good young talent that o,k has failed to make an impact at man city, but could have came good up here? any thoughts??

I reckon if Buffel is given enough of a chance tonight (30minutes at least) if not a starting position then he will show that he is capable of giving us the spark in midfield that we have lacked of late. I watched an Old Firm game on Rangers TV the other night, Nov'05 at Porkheid I think it was, we won 2-0 with Novo and Vignal scoring. Both Ferguson and Buffel were superb playing in a similar formation to what Smith is playing at the moment, with Ricksen as the holding midfield player. They both controlled the game and everything seemed to go through the two of them. The question is though, if Buffel came out tonight and put in a great performance would Walter give him his chance in the starting 11 ? I agree! hapened to have watched that game recently and some people seem to forget how inspirational Buffel was that season when we made th last 16 of the Champions league. if he can recapture that form he is definatly worth a place in the 16. but he needs a proper chance in the side can't see walter giving it to him?? Any thoughts?

He's pretty rubbish and is the weak link in an otherwise sound united defence. Between wage demands and other EPL sides wanting him I cant see him coming north of the border.
