  1. Took the words right out my mouth.
  2. Enjoy your night scumtic. You sure as hell won't be getting it this time next year.
  3. Not having Shitanta, was Novo's red for "violent conduct"? Is he out then on Sat?
  4. Exactly. I wasn't expecting to win the league tonight either in the slightest - but I was hoping they would at least put up a fight, and I honestly thought it would be the goal difference that would finish it. Not to go up to Aberdeen and fucking LOSE in the last, most important game of the season. So fucking disappointed.
  5. Come on wee Nacho... two goals...DU can hold the green and white shite 0-0... Please guys
  6. None of them are working for me either, plus my internet is being an utter bastard. Fucking typical! :angry2:
  7. I've spoken to a lot of people who were in Piccadilly Gardens that night and unfortunately saw the worst of it first-hand, and were saying virtually the same thing as that article - that there were a lot of non-Rangers fans involved, and plenty local thugs right in the thick of things. Everytime I've repeated this to anyone, I've been accused of defending "scum Rangers fans" and making excuses for the fact that apparently ALL Rangers fans are hooligans. Hopefully more articles like this will come out, and I can forward them on to every single one of the bastards I was talking to with a big "I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO" in flashing letters.
  8. I tried to get in to Cathedral Square, as we were staying in the Travelodge on Blackfriars Road, which was only round the corner - we couldn't get in though, the crowds waiting to get in the fanzone were 40-odd deep by the time we got there about 5pm. After walking in circles looking for the "other entrance" on the advice of one of the policemen (stupid me, must have been an INVISIBLE entrance that I missed!) we hung around at the big wheel for a bit before heading for the velodrome. The atmosphere looked way better at Cathedral Square! Great video. Just wish more people could see clips like that rather than thugs getting eaten by police dogs...
  9. Well said! And look at the size of the area Glastonbury is held on, compared to the area we were accommodated. If anything it just re-iterates the fact they should have taken us to Heaton Park or somewhere outwith the city centre instead. If anyone here has been to T in the Park, an event which each day has about half as many as were in Manchester, you'll have seen what a state the festival site is in by the end of the night in terms of rubbish. Absolutely fucking covered, to the point you can't even find somewhere to sit without clearing empty plastic cups, paper plates and chip trays out the way. What exactly were Manchester expecting? That we could just shove all our rubbish in our pockets and take it home with us?
  10. I have to spend the rest of the afternoon at work with a tim, so this day is just magnificent.
  11. I feel I shouldn't laugh at that, but I did. And I needed that, thanks!
  12. Brilliant! sometimes a few hours, sometimes 24..does vary...they will go on...did you vote against the European ban?..the vote has moved back in our favour and could be in the balance with a few more our way... Where do you vote? I couldn't find it. Reading any articles on the MEN website is just pissing me off with all the negative comments. I had enough of it at work today speaking to the people in the Manchester office on the phone with their "oh so you got back home okay after wrecking our city" comments.
  13. No. The hooligans were wearing casual clothes. There is a difference.
  14. I registered and added my comments - how long before they appear? I tried commenting on an article last night and it didn't show up at all. I wasn't even swearing or anything!
  15. My only shitey picture of the shitey-atmosphered velodrome from my even more shitey camera phone, during the second half.
  16. I was there - we couldn't find any buses and it became clear it was going to take ages to walk so we were lucky and managed to share a cab with two guys heading for the stadium. This was about 6.30pm. When we hit the stadium we then ended up walking in circles round the Asda car park for a while trying to figure out how to get to the bloody place. Luckily we made it there for about 7.30pm. It was near empty when we first got there, and I was talking to one of the stewards who said that this was obviously "the best kept secret in Manchester". He couldn't understand why the police hadn't sent people there earlier, rather than having them wander round the streets - especially as here at least there was a bar so booze was readily available, which is more than can be said for the city centre at times. It started to fill up during the first half, but was no where near full at any point. I have no idea how many were there - I'm rubbish at guessing crowd sizes but I don't think I would have said 11,000.
