Hi mate,
No I don't believe the result would have been any different with any other manager, this isn't a game of FIFA where the manager is in control of when players should complete passes and make decisions on players behalf... as soon as that whistle goes the players are in control, and today, and last week the players were out of control. Lack of ball retention, players scared to show for the ball, lack of belief... that's nothing to do with the manager. That beerman and hyndman today were treated like 'wee guys' by Celtic today. Dodoo, Waghorn, Garner they are easy pickings for Celticndefence they don't have the knowledge of when to show and how to playwith their back to goal, not good enough.
I don't think it's fair to compare today or last week to Murtys game, in hindsight albeit, at the time all of the Celtic noise was that they never showed up on the day and rangers played the best they could have, I actually thought rangers could have played better that game because they gave the ball away that game just as much as they did today, unpunished. So on reflection I genuinely believe Celtic had more of an off day than anything rangers actually done well.
I think it's fair to expect to get progressively better as a manager implements his style, not immediatey better though, as the narrow minded rangers fan seems to expect these days. How many games has this guy had, undefeated bar Celtic, who are miles ahead?

This thread sums up the narrow minded Rangers fan up perfectly. Pedro out? The fact this guy is taking the slack on behalf of that 'team' is admirable... They players are average and were shocking today. What do tactics have to do with the failure of players completeing 5 yard passes? The Rangers goal came about from players being relaxed on the ball, completing the easy passes. It is easy for players to do that 4-0 down, seen it at all levels of football. Waghorn, Doodoo, Garner do not cause enough problems for Celtic with their back to goal.. Everything stuck for Celtic today, every player wanted it, kept it under pressure.. on contrast the Rangers players never. Pedro could have set up anyway he wanted, to stand off, press, 5-4-1, 4-3-3, at the end of the day it's the players lack of ability that killed us today. He needs an opportunity to sign his own players before being judged. No matter who was manager today the gulf of class would not have differed. Simples.

How was Law hiding? Probably got on the ball more than his fellow midfielders.
Mckay beat his man once and he got applause for atoning for losing the ball a couple times... Haliday with a few overhit long passes and clumsy fouls - cannot believe what I read on here against Law sometimes. Nobody played to the standard today.
