  1. Surely clubs in the SPL should be commended if they can attract players with this amount of money from the Premierleague too. That would be like putting a quality restriction, 'You're too good for the SPL and get paid more than 10k a week? You're not allowed to play in case we win unfairly". Moral of the story, if I wanted to hear an arsehole speak, I'd have farted.
  2. No arguments here, 'cept I'd maybe switch Naisy and Aluko.
  3. I do agree, Lafferty lacks consistency, hope we get someone in.
  4. We play much better with than without him, I think get shot of him and get one more striker - play Mervan behind that striker in a free role, brilliant. Mind we have Laff to come back, and Naisy too.
  5. Just means the Subway Loyal leave at 80mins instead of 85.
  6. Based on what I've seen, he is far from the finished article, but he only really has pace. Can throw in a good cross, but the fact he has no right foot is a major downfall, although he scored two in the last bounce game Worth a shot I s'pose.
  7. Now that's out of order, overrating him like that, he looks more like Crissy Ronaldo or Karim Benzema to me.
  8. That's what got me, after skinning one of their players (can't mind who, I was too busy jizzing over Mervan running at them). Looks brilliant, thoroughly exciting player to watch it seems. Nice selfless play too.
  9. Did well to score, but he is past it. I think we'd be much better starting how we finished today, Mervan and Kerkar up front. However, the pishness of Healy up front always spurs on our midfield to attack.
  10. Lacking a flair player for so long, and now we have this guy and Aluko, promising stuff on the pitch.
  11. I think we should give him a new contract ASAP so we don't lose him to an English club.
  12. Quality player, confident, ball looks glued to his feet at times and his passing is brilliant. What a goal today too, perfect free kick.
  13. Okay, so we didn't get to see much of him and it's very early to judge, but what did we all think? I personally thought he was brilliant, looks promising. A touch of quality with the step-overs and ball control, ability to beat a man, attacking minded and doesn't look selfish, willing to play someone through. Looked quality, and has a bit of confidence about him, I can't wait to see him starting for us. :mervan:
  14. It was tough between Aluko, Davis and McGregor for me, but had to be Aluko. What a performance though. Bit shaky at the back, I won't lie, but Mcgregor was brilliant. Especially starting that counter attack. Davis and Edu were inspiring in the engine room and controlled most attacks, nothing really on the wings first half. Not gonna mentionm McCulloch really. Aluko was amazing, what a free kick too, we've been calling out for a goal from distance, or someone to at least try for a while - he and Edu gave us plenty. Healy wasn't fantastic, but at least he got a goal. I still don't think he's the man for the job - and I thought Kerkar and Mervan looked much better. Mervan looks very confident and looks like he has a bit of quality, brilliant acquisition if he keeps it up. And lastly, well done to Ally, he got it all right today, great tactics, ball across the floor, attacking football, what a performance. 4-0, never a bad performance. Four brilliant goals in their own right too, pity the stadium was near empty to see Davis round it off though, either way, what a match.
  15. Pity the stadium is now empty and no-one got to see that.
  16. Aluko definitely MOTM, I'd have said McGregor was a contender. The RTV MOTM was Davis.
  17. I'd love to see this current line-up (minus Jig) starting.
  18. Mervan looks quality. Confidence in abundance. :mervan:
