  1. I think we need a player like Miller, hence why I have previously suggested Johnny Russell.
  2. It only matters to me as I believe Celtic will try snap him up too, and if he is a fan he'll go there. I'd love to see him play for us though.
  3. I can't believe people are honestly suggesting Terry Butcher.
  4. McGregor 6 Bartley 5 Goian 3 Bocanegra 5 Wallace 5 Cellik 4 (Kerkar 3) Davis 4 Edu 6 Papac 3 (Wylde 4) Aluko 7 Healy 3 (Little 4)
  5. I take that into account too, but hopefully the tax case is gone by then, we get rid of some deadwood and make some signings.
  6. I'm a big critic of Lafferty and never thought I'd say it. But we really miss him.
  7. If people are saying they won't give him another chance, I think that is rather arse-hole-ish, to coin a phrase, that is why I originally said such. Players need chances to show us what they can do.
  8. That was my fear, he's be a tim and they'd sign him up. Wasn't sure though.
  9. He was also brilliant. Much like Conway and Goodwillie last season, I think McKay-Steven and Russell were the difference today, if we had them both I think we'd have a much better team.
  10. I don't like to mention it, but today, Johnny Russell ran our defence absolutely ragged, looked like the kind of player we have been missing. I think we need him, or a similar player next season to replace Healy up top, in a Miller-esque shape and role. I'd love to see him in a Rangers jersey.
  11. That was what I thought, Aluko on the right and Mervan on the left. Give someone young a shot up front with Healy, or even Wylde or Kerkar on the left and Mervan up front. However, you said no-one wrote him off... It's fine saying he was poor today, he was, everyone was. But comments like that, are utter nonsense.
  12. Writing off any player after one game is a simply ridiculous opinion, and I stand by that point. I believe it can affect a player's psychology, and we need to get behind our players since we don't have many of them, especially ones who have showed promise and quality - and who obviously want to play for the club.
  13. Right, so when someone does not mention our situation they are a prick, but when someone does mention our situation they are a prick. Good logic.
  14. A fresh start does not always result in immediate success. Especially given our circumstances. Given the bigger picture, time is needed.
  15. Nope, I wasn't there due to being unemployed until yesterday, so I wouldn't have been able to afford it.
  16. Okay so we'll make someone a scapegoat who is essentually making his starting debut, who hasn't played in two months having just finished a full season, and who is playing out of position. Makes sense.
  17. I believe this happens because if reality does not meet expectation for some of our fans straight away, they will call everything shite. Proof is in the pudding with players like Bedoya, Ortiz etc. If Mckay got a game right now and didn't impress, he would be shite too after six months of bumming him constantly on the forum. it happened with jelavic too. Charlie Adam is the prime example. Slated here because he made the odd mistake and everyone judged him, turned into a player. Some fans need to realise we aren't the Harlem Globetrotters of football.
  18. Stupid to judge him on today, as has been stated several times. The manner in which people saying it is ridiculous. 75 mins of football does not make a player good or bad. He was promising as a sub last game, and we should not judge a player after half a game. This is why players become flops, too much pressure when everyone calls them shite for no reason.
  19. I can't believe we are judging a guy after 75mins of football. 20 of which he looked brilliant, 45 of which he didn't look worse than anyone else in a Rangers jersey. At least he tried, he wasn't match fit and was played out of position, give him time.
