That's not home advantage, if it's drilled in to a players psychology, they can take that sort of inspiration anywhere with them. My opinion was simply on the basis that home advantage at Ibrox to these boys isn't what it is to the senior team. It wasn't a "home" crowd, dominating the stands, intimidating opponents and leaning on officials to get favourable decisions. The youth team aren't overly familiar with the pitch in the way senior team are, they don't play there every other week, those advantages you have on how the ball runs in certain corners, gradients, dimensions, they have none of that.

Don't even know where to begin in terms of lineup for this one, certainly in the forward area anyway.

Giving him those opportunities in the first team is a must, if we don't show him a pathway to senior football one of the clubs circling will entice him away.

I'd love if these kids were inspired at Ibrox by "memories of the greats", but what greats can a group of 18 year olds remember?

It's not going to help him to the extent first team football out on loan would, and hopefully between now and end of season he'll get an opportunity in our first team, but at 16 he is still very young and playing matches within this age group (his age group) is still going to assist his development.

None of us want to see it happen, think calling it an "embarrassment" to lose in a shootout at youth level though is a push.

The youths don't play their home games there though, so it's not giving them much of an advantage.

If we see Devine it'll likely be at left back, or from the bench,I don't see Beale benching Tav. We need to see Souttar play too, see what he's like with a run of games in him, which may limit Kings minutes unless Goldson is dropped. Would like to see Lovelace too, simply because I don't want to ever see Morelos or Sakala lead the line for us again.

So far he's only broughtgot in Cantwell and Raskin, so it's early on but his recruitement so far has been good.
