We went through to extra time playing high intensity v braga to then beat the fenians in extra time. We went to penalties in Sevilla in what I can only describe as the most uncomfortable heat to watch a game in never mind play, to then beat hearts in extra time again playing at a very high intensity especially second half and then extra time.
we looked like we would never stop running, we are nothing like that now

This is a guy who's now 23 and has only ever played 38 senior games, and none in the last two years. There is a stark reality that he may never play again. He's not had any adult job other than being a football player and might have to start the employment ladder from the bottom.
He's not injured, he's ill. From what we are told, there is absolutely nothing he can do about it. He's on the outside looking into the party with his nose pressed against the window and there's no entry door.
He's going to have bad days - he's had 600 odd of them since being diagnosed. Maybe he's just blown off some steam after one of those bad days?
I kinda like to think the best of people until shown different. In reality - it's not a big bit of news and maybe the guy needs an arm around his shoulder from a couple of senior players and some guidance?
I always thought there were roles for guys like Davy Weir, Clint Hill, Jermain Defoe etc in situations like these at our club over the years. Guys who have been there, seen it, done it etc.
In reality - as others have said already, nobody really knows what's going on and it's probably nobody else's business just now except between him and the club.
    I wish him well.

Ideally all players would at least do something but at a minimum I feel they should have a few designated players after each game to go out and sign stuff.
I remember after my first Rangers game we left the stadium pretty late and Amoruso was talking to someone he knew out his car window with no one else around. We waited a bit but eventually left as to not bother him. 2 minutes later he comes driving up behind us and asks if we wanted something signed.
Small things make a big difference.

Took my Grandaughter to her first game yesterday. Aged 7, she loved it and after the game, she wanted to see if she could get some autographs. Not knowing the 'rules', I walked round to the car park behing the Copland Road stand where there were loads of people queueing in a somewhat disorganised bunch in the freezing cold. Player after player came out and drove off without so much as a wave. Eventually, one or two stopped and signed the first thing that was thrust before their face and then made their escape. Kent came out....and to his credit, he signed every bit of anything that was put before him (i think we were next to last and the queue was long) and posed for absolutely loads of pictures/selfies through his car window. He didn't leave a single fan disappointed. Sometimes, it's not what happens on the pitch that makes a lasting impression. My Grandaughter is still buzzing and can't wait to go to her next game. Well done young man!
