I think Davis has the ability to do anything he wants on the park but to say he is always liable is imo, a bit wayward as this season I reckon in only 3 or 4 games have we seen the real Steven Davis, yet it's his midfield partners who are slated and accused of not performing/going missing more often than not.

I thought it worked very well today and it seemed to me that they were switching with one another often, so that they both had similar amount of time at LB and LM. Both sound enough defensively and both do offer a good attacking outlet.
