  1. Well done boogie...congrats Algeria. It's always a pleasure seeing our players do well on the international arena. Their pivotal guy who plays for pompey(yebda) is just impressive....very physical and yet endowed with a great array of skills. He utterly overwhelmed single handedly, all the string of malian big guns who play for Barcelona,Real madrid and Juventus.
  2. Full time: Algeria 1 Mali 0 What a game from boogie...this guy is just GREAT!
  3. What a difference a day makes! Dreadful display....not surprising though with miller out and our most influencial player called up overseas for international duty!
  4. What a great player he is....hope we can do just fine while he's away on interrnational duty!
  5. The only thing that tampers my joy,is that it could be all change when the big man will be off to the african cup. Notice that the whole demeanour of the team, has improved dramatically since he came back from the world cup qualifiers. Hope the tims won't be cashing in on his absence.
  6. McGregor - 6 Broadfoot - 7 Weir - 6 Bougherra - 8 Papac - 6 Lafferty - 6 McCulloch - 7 Davis - 7 Novo - 7 Miller - 9 Boyd - 9 Edu - 5 Whittaker - 5
  7. Well,it looks like the permission has been granted somehow after his last visit to his home country and the written request that we sent to their FA!
  8. According to the most renowned Algerian sport magazine(competition.dz),the Algerian FA has agreed(as a favour) to let "magic bougherra" attend the old firm derby, after receiving a formal written request from the Gers hierarchy(and the eagerness shown by the player himself). In fact, boogie won't be joining the Algerian squad until the 4th of january, wich leaves us all the leisure to slide in an other game too!
  9. Great winning goal scored by..............Bougherra's fellow countryman,Bouzid!
  10. Will be cheering for Algeria and Boogie all the way...........................................................................to the next round!
  11. Bougherra is a world class defender,no shilly shally about it. He is one of the best CBs in the world. It would be fruitless falling into this obsolete comparaison between defenders and so called "star strikers" of the likes of messi, ronaldo and cie to pin point whose is worthy of the world class label......and who isn't!
  12. Clearly,Boogie came back with a vengeance and had in mind a point to prove. I thought he was very solid at the back and the opposition couldn't deal with his outbursts going forward. In overall,it was a great performance from the big man.
  13. Must admit having a soft spot for Algeria for boogie's sake!
  14. No point in this shilly shally behaviour. He is our best player and he should have played tonight, period.
  15. Can't be true, boogie is staying til the end of the season, that's a straight forward cold fact. PS:BTW,i've seen him in his world cup encounter against egypt......he was rock solid!
  16. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssss....big Lee you son of a God!
  17. He'll be fit to play for us this week end hopefully(touch wood). In any cas, good luck to algeria against egypt.

  19. Papac isn't bad but boogie is just too good... The big man all the way,for me.
  20. Alexander, Bougherra and Davis. As far as i'm concerned what's left might aswell be thrown out to the lions den.
  21. The epitome of terrorisme would rather be,a state sponsored terrorisme that slaughters the innocent on a daily basis with no regard to their humanity.Carpet bomb whole villages as a means of collective punishment, engage in illegal settlements activities, surround a whole host of palestinian towns and villages with inhuman embargos and blocades, starving them and preventing food and medecine from getting in.Build the wall of shame that is suffocating and squeezing the livelihood out of this helpless tormented people.Arrest illegally thousands of innocents and throw them in concentration camps, where they are subjected to an array of awful torture and immoral practises(teenagers and women amongst others).Use internationally prohibited weaponery(phosphorus bombs, cluster bombs.....) to commit genocide on thousands of hopeless civilians(mostly babies, women and the elderly)...........ect....ect...... On the face of it,I would do more than strap around my waist an explosive belt to get my own back,if i were in their shoes....knowing that, this is the only means of resistance that is available to them! One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter!
