He is not a player i'd use if challenging for the league but for rebuilding from Div1 he is exactly the type of player we should be after.

Sorry i should have been clear i was speculating, apologies. Its my own personal opinion that youth squads and coaching will be culled without us in the SPL.

Clearly the motherwell guy didn't want to be the one to break the news that the U-17 and u-19 teams and half of the youth coaching setup are getting sacked because they cant afford it without the big blue cash cow.

If the powers that be are too busy to attend due to other commitments then why arrange it for such a pivotal time? Bizarre

Not wanting to nit pick, but Green is just a front for whoever Zeus is fronting, I'd like to see facts and figures before acknowledging that he put up any money at all. Also, Duff and Phelps knocked back a few bids from other parties for Rangers(Bill Ng, Brian Kennedy, TBK party), so I have no idea why this myth that Green is the only person to have put up money came from?

What alarms me most about Greens tenure at SU is that the club may well have been run 'rather well' financially, but it was to the detriment of the team. Also there were big suspicions of money brought in from selling players which was not necessary(eg when pushing for promotion under Spackman), going out of the club into the pockets of individuals (much more than normal, in this case not agents but the club owner). Also he is known for having little or no dialogue with the support. That doesnt wash with me.

I'll pay for my ticket on a game by game basis. So i'll reserve my right to have an opinion. What i will say is that Green has a track record of not running a football club well. That does not inspire confidence

Sadly there is still a massive portion of our support who still buys those rags.

They can still come after us, however if we go to Div3 it will condem many SPL clubs to administration and financial ruin. While we will bounce back.

I'm not 100% sure, however some other bears have done some research and found a few (albeit tenuous) links, and its not unconceivable that ticketus want their money back. Would be easier to get it by asset stripping the club than chasing Whyte.

Its a train of thought that Ticketus are being represented by Zeus captial in all this and infact own the club. Zeus are an investment firm/Financial advisors, why would they want to own a football club?
